McD has been automating everything they could for years. Replacing inefficient worker? Right, here is what they are going to do, blow a bunch fricken smoke about how its costing them profits. Then in 2 years when their profits go up because more people at 15$ can actually afford thier crap food, they will SFU.
The very foundation your start you negotiations upon, are almost certainly a result of some social work force movement that preceeded you. Even the 7 day work week, child labor, etc. etc. Read your history, your going to chop a hole in the boat for your personal gain? Perhaps your already in management trying to fight your way up the food chain so you can retire early?
I'd have to say after 25 years in IT, that the vast majority of people left their jobs(jumped ship) because of the manager. People rarely leave their jobs, they leave their managers. Perhaps your very attitude here is part if not the whole root cause of your attrition. Or the cost of living is so far out of wack in your area for a person they need to eat and pay the rent?
I'm suspecting he realized he would be outed with the info he was about to provide for several major bit coin sales. Which probably went untaxed in Panama or some other remote haven for money laundering. Lets see, Fame or prison... hmm.

Chances are they can get all of this from his cloud storage anyway and open it right up. Grep any messages he has sent that had odd words out of place, bet he typed it in a few times and its in the logs/history.
These numbers cannot be correct. I worked at one fortune 50 a year ago that had over 4000 indian contractors sitting in seats in america, not counting the overseas center. Please look at number/vs per year. If there are 300k per year how is this chart correct? Its that x 1000 each?
Paid Subscribers getting +1 karma on all posts. There will not be many at first, perhaps gift some subscriptions to posters that have a clear head, and valuable insite.
Gather up all ideas and come up with a polling system with the ones you like best. I'm sure we would all be very happy to discuss the changes in advance with the polling results.
There is no reason this site couldn't be a hybrid reviewer of smart items on wiki, amazon (bb-8 toys), maker mag, or things like that. Mostly its all just comments, but the posts are in some cases, very insightful, even if they are not factual. This would help monetize the site without ticking everyone off, if you sprinkle some of these in with clear labeling.
Promote less mainstream/fanboi and more cutting edge, once it goes mainstream may of us have lost interest in it already, and the fanboi's come out.
Add a second karma like ranking: "Not factual", "no cited reference included", "reference not factual". This ranking should be next too and not replace the karma ranking.
Remember to gather up the useful suggestions and let the community have some participation/voting/dialog on what you intend as changes. The Warcry "Remember the Beta!" or "F--- the Beta", is not the results you want.. Heed the advice, many of your site users can have 10x the experience of you or your coworkers, in just about every topic.
