It's even allowed to use chemicals (PVPP, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polyvinylpolypyrrolidone) to filter out unwanted tanning agents. After the (complete) removal of the PVPP the Reinheitsgebot by definition is not violated...
"German IACS security researcher Ralph Langner has successfully analyzed the Stuxnet malware that appeared to be a miracle. Stuxnet is a directed attack against a specific control system installation. Langner will disclose details, including forensic evidence, next week at Joe Weiss' conference in Rockville. "

There is another one: jollix
Not very active project at the moment, most is in german and we (the two maintainers) currently have not much time work on it. Drop us a note, maybe we can share our experience.
There is another Gentoo-based: jollix A bit outdated, but not dead yet;-) It boots into KDE with a focus on multimedia apps. The clou was to to use wine to play your Half Life 1 Windows installation from harddisk.
The next version of jollix (to appear in 2nd quarter) will include kernel 2.6.1, kde3.2.

Most of the bash-script comments and utility-documentation (cloop, mkisofs) is in english.
or NMM for short, might be a software option. Every piece of hardware is considered as a "node", and it doesn't matter where this hardware is located in a network. A so-called serverregistry is aware of every speaker, monitor etc and handles sources of video & audio towards desired output devices (sinks).
From their website: "The goal of our work is to design and develop a multimedia middleware, which considers the network as an integral part and enables the intelligent use of devices distributed across a network. We are currently designing and implementing a network-integrated multimedia infrastructure for Linux (as well as other operating systems). Our unified architecture will offer a simple and easy to use interface for applications to integrate multimedia functionality. Therefore, it can be used as enabling technology for traditional multimedia applications, but also for ubiquitous computing and mobile computing. The result of our work will be made available as Open Source (LGPL and GPL). "
As far as I know there will be a cvs repository soon, and, of course, there is no ready-to-use application for the situation you describe here. But there's a tool called "clic" which is part of NMM that can be used to connect a bunch of nodes (for example the MP3ReadNode with the PlaybackNode), maybe the way you need.
Have a look at gentoogames
This is/will be the Linux distro specifically for gamers, but they make no compromise: booting directly into the game is not what a so-far-windows-only user wants to get warm with GNU/linux.
The intention behind the jollix project is to use some games - either running natively or through wine - to have a certain type of user attract to deal with a new OS. At LAN parties I noticed that it is just "cool" for some guys to see someone play under linux. So this is a real chance to get those people in touch with GNU/linux I think.
Here's a link for Mandrake users. Beware of the german;-)
Short instructions:

There are two examples. Have a look at/usr/share/doc/lilo-/README.graphic.
Radioisotope thermoelectric generator requires plutonium and they weren't able to use it mainly for political reasons.

Today (2012/02/10) France is buying not selling energy. Germany delivers :-)
Is bitcoin just a scam, invented by nVidia to sell GPUs?
1. Dilute the contaminated water ...and more
2. Dilute it even more
3.
4. Sell it to homeopaths
5. Profit!

I've always loved this funny Bill/Borg icon, but now I'm glad that the contract with the Church(?) expired: From the Persona website:
-Drug free
-Works with your body
-Is 93-95% reliable
-Endorsed by the Church
-No side-effects
Don't know, but what I do know is that my girlfriend is already using this for a while -> no pregnancy so far...
