Well, technically I am one here. I have not the slightest clue what you are talking about. It's a game show, that's what I understood so far. But what the hell is this show about?
Seems I have to move to the U.S. for some weeks each year to be able to understand/. postings nowadays.
The article might be funny for you, but I would like to see at least 1 sentence regarding the backround to give foreigners a chance to get the whole picture without milking google for ages.
To decline any technology because MS developed it is not the right way. Even when I dislike a company I should carefully examine if what they did is a good idea or not. If they change the license to a compatible version and there is no objective reason to decline the offer then it would be stupid not to work together at that point.
We can't preach freedom but on the other hand suppress others.
For me it's rather logical that ppl try to use this service as much as they can - including applications like this blogger. But on the other hand google will not like this because it pretty much abuses their service and causes way more costs than planned.
It's always the same game:
1. company offers something
2. user finds a way to use this for something not intended by company
3. company complains about it/ sues the user/ develops a way to block the user
Wouldn't it be alot cheaper and better to purchase a 2 processor system instead of a extremely high-priced overclocked 1 processor system? Seriously, except the "coolness" I fail to see the sense in this system.
I had a very similar problem the first time I noticed all the extensions out there. After installing the 25th extension my browser was almost unusable and I realized that installing everything is not the best idea. So for the next try I was way more careful and it worked out. Still alot to do for the Firefox team and the extension programmers but the idea itself is splendid, I really like it and if you are careful enough it already works quite fine.
Tabbrowser Preferences - very useful, nearly everything you can dream of to configure the tab-behaviour ReloadEvery - the only reason why I use Firefox, autoreload is a must and just perfect for pages like/. Linkification - alot of boards that I use have clickable links disabled for "security reasons". This extension brings back the link. googlebar - not really necessary but nice to have Dict - not used yet, but sounds promising BookmarksHome - great thing, always missed it Autofill - not used yet, but sounds good

At the end it will be annoying for both sides.

Did I miss anything necessary?
Doubt that, at least AC told something different the last time I saw him on a conference ... ;)
if this is true.
