Picture their attempt... beit an online service ala napster, or physical locations /w kiosks ala gateway's retail outlets.... either way you're looking at an online portal crammed so full of junk adds and bullshit that it wont be worth you're time (if I have to stare at a purple fucking ape in a pop-up window while my 64 Mb album downloads at 5.7 KB/sec. I swear to god i'll end my life), or their kiosk will be an experiment in futility where it takes an hour of 50 cents a minute browsing to find 12 tracks you could possible want on a CD...)... it'll be so corporate and full of junk, that not even 13 year old girls who think the corporate marketing gimmicks for their backstreet bands are the way good bands actually advertise... fuck... i dunno what i was writing about anymore... 1 things for sure: prolly no one who visits slashdot will appreciate this service if it ever comes to fruition... we'll prefer clean open sourced p2p client interfaces w/o spyware for download hard to find illegal music for free. honestly... jebus.

"Rumors about a possible end to the series intensified this year after Kelley committed to do a new one-hour series for Fox next season centering on three young female lawyers. In addition to the show being described as "Ally"-ish, it would have been the fourth for Kelley, who also produces ABC's "The Practice" and "Boston Public (news - Y! TV)" for Fox."

hehehe, so they cancel the series claiming that the only appealing aspect of the show had been the strong character of flockhart (sp?). their next series set to debut stars three young female lawyers. hehehe, so 1 wasn't enough -- they'll try it again with 3 :) this is hillarious.

I was cruised through the GPL. And that same license has been the only license attributed to all software i've installed in the last year or so.

What might be worth considering, is a generic software application installation license that governs what software is allowed to do to your computer, and what your computer is allowed to do to the software. If the developer or publisher of the software has any additional terms, they must be appended and marked at the bottom of this generic EULA. This could cover every piece of software, reducing the size of most software's EULA.
