Epic M$ hate bro. There's a new web board forming called "Slash-dot" and I hear they're going to open up a comment section. You should check it out, I think you'd do well there. BTW, do you think there's anything to this "Y2K" problem or what? Either way I'm going to "party like its 1999"!:)
You: Socialized/Community medical care sucks Him: What if you get cancer and can't afford it? You: Sidestepping cancer, throw up strawman of roof jumping. I shouldn't have to pay for your mistakes. Him: Bites on strawman. You: You will die.
But you never answered the cancer situation. If we have the technology and resources (and in a first world country, we DO have the resources) in our society to cure the sick, aren't we morally obligated to do so? Sure, there is that ever present threat of health care sucking roof jumpers, but I feel like that's somewhat in a minority.
lollertroller. Read some history. People weren't flocking here from Europe because of the utopian paradise being run over there.. Guess who came over in steerage? Oh, that's right, the peasants.
Anyways, I think the GP's point is that having a strong protective government force allows less essential pursuits aside from "find food, don't get stabbed" like science to flourish. Check out how well things were faring in the middle ages vs. more stable eras.
What is freedom? Freedom from getting stabbed by my neighbor? Freedom to not starve? Freedom to not be raided by barbarians from the North? How are these achieved without threat of retribution or a central justice system?
Goes both ways. I go often and every time get a grilling like I'm there to take all your maple syrup, Molson's, and juicy free healthcare back with me.
So if you don't reply to this and post "c6gunner is a fucking idiot" that is an act of censorship? As long as we agree on your absurd definition. I really need you to reply to this, or else I won't be able to get the word out that "c6gunner is a fucking idiot".
Also, perhaps you'd like to consider context with definitions next time. As in "most people are generally talking about government censorship and free speech issues, not the literal definition of censorship".
Not broadcasting an idea because you don't agree with it is not censorship. Preventing someone else from saying something is censorship. Apple has not prevented the group from saying anything. Are you saying that Apple is morally obligated from publishing everything everyone wants them to say? If I, I a book publisher, reject a book is that censorship?
I don't disagree with your assertion, but when someone says "Creationist" here its a safe assumption that they mean someone from the ID, young earth, Satan hid the dino bones etc. spectrum, not the "A creator sparked the big bang/started up the server we're running on". The OP, however childish, was speaking specifically to the type of creationist that denies scientific evidence rather than working with it.
Why does one need an "excuse" for homosexual acts between consenting adults. That would imply that you find what two consenting adults do in the privacy of their home as wrong, which is quite obviously idiotic.
Right, and Xbox uses the same windowing library? What exactly makes them the same OS? My contention is that the 360 is not running Windows, and that seems to be the point being made.

Uh, the Nazgul wouldn't have been around, as they were recipients of the rings of power.
(If I can't post a pedantic nerd post to a Lord of the Rings parody of a software announcement, where can I?)
So if you get run over or need a kidney you'll take one for the team then?
You didn't answer his question. Let me recap:
You: Socialized/Community medical care sucks
Him: What if you get cancer and can't afford it?
You: Sidestepping cancer, throw up strawman of roof jumping. I shouldn't have to pay for your mistakes.
Him: Bites on strawman.
You: You will die.

Sounds like the manual to Pimp Wars or something with less ASCII art.

I love how you refute made up facts by making up your own.
Except when you're in a cab. Or a limo. Or walking.
Yeah, seriously. I'm pretty sure the news of "ALL SCIENCE INVALID!" won't wait for that primetime special on Sighfi
Assasins Creed or many other games do this well, and have for a long time. MMOs for some reason still think they can get away with it.
Goes both ways. I go often and every time get a grilling like I'm there to take all your maple syrup, Molson's, and juicy free healthcare back with me.
So just to follow up, do you think the actions of Apple are morally reprehensible?
So if you don't reply to this and post "c6gunner is a fucking idiot" that is an act of censorship? As long as we agree on your absurd definition. I really need you to reply to this, or else I won't be able to get the word out that "c6gunner is a fucking idiot".

Thanks for your time!

Don't they do that for first run shows they show very close to the air date? I thought they started that already (could be wrong).
Man, that was a lot of typing with just one hand!
It took a while to pop up for me. Chrome 10 on Win7.
There's a video. So not just a stupid comment. A stupid comment AND a stupid video!
That's one smelly ruler!
Apparently a place where people fall prey to obvious trolls. Come on, he wasn't even trying that hard...

Brrrrrrr...thanks for playing try again. If you consider OS X and FreeBSD different OSs, then your statement is far from correct.
What's British for woooooosh? Is it douuuuuuuuuche?
