Yeah, this is a simple matter of lacking time.

Inclusion is one thing, hard core implementation is another. SELinux is not click RPM and install.

SELinux is a set of policies that define how your system is acting basing on actual happenings. To put it simply, take it as system account ACL-s (maybe I put it wrong but that was the only way to describe it as simple thing).

One month most probably isn't enough time to implement more than trivial policies that actualy take your system trough correct workout. Expect FC3 to be the first one with correct settings. FC2 can be but probably settings will depend on you

As far as Scribus. I use it, SVG import and texts are more than enough for my simple use.

Well, Gimp does walk over Photoshop. I've got few Adobe Collections (from my prior DTP use), but I still use Gimp (not Photoshop), because for RGB and web Gimp just rocks, btw. I'm always having 3 monitors on every computer.

btw. If you would ever consider going to gimp-devel and checking out what's comming. 2.0 was UI renovation, 2.2 is color management renovation (GEGL), which will finally include options to have CMYK and other color models. Gegl will include options for ICC profiling (these were just simple hacks until now), nested layers etc. And if the announcement on devel site is correct Gimp 2.2 should be out this summer

So, to made my point: The longer the path to where Photoshop is Gimp walks, the more it walks over Photoshop (most of the reason for it will be price).

Obviously you don't know shit about what you talk about.

Do you even know what is the real difference between postscript an eps?? In common basics one line and preview (besides the fact that encapsulated eps is limited to one page).

EPS allows you to have preview which postscript doesn't. That's the most of it.

    Steps to make handmade eps
    1. Print single page in ascii postcript
    2. Open in simple ascii editor
    3. Paste %!PS-Adobe-X.0 EPSF-X.0 as the first line
    4. Save
    5. ???Profit

Now even if your program doesn't support importing ps (but does eps), you can simply import this new file. Yes, preview will be unavailable in quark and similiar software.

But if you care you can still set some selinux policy without problem, there is a lot of info on that topic on Fedora site. Personally I just can't wait for them to release. selinux was one thing I always needed but never had time to test.

btw. upgrade to newer version works, even rawhide repository works. But hell, I always build everything extra from sources, except workstation setups.

Serious setting as you say in my point of view

    1. Single update repository for all servers that is completely controlled by you. (never trust anybody or anything, check everything)
    2. Avoid using default services and try to hide the ones that you run with fake names (it is considered as good avoiding of possible known bugs)
    3. Always compile from sources to ensure your serious setting to be run as serious as possible (like in samba av support, proxy av support, in my case pure-ftpd kernel-chroot support....)
    4. Almost never use the default servers. Mostly they are far from the best (you know,... some have little licensing problems, in my case qmail, that little trouble with source distribution)
    5. You'll have to update some intrusion detectors and some other various usefull tools someday (if you have update repository set up in a safe manner then this could be included in basic update, without troubling you)
    6. Always provide your kernels because you are the one who knows your basic hardware setup best

To be honest, from any dostro I set up as server, there is very little default left at the end. so in the end I really shouldn't care which one I use, just that it hasn't got some serious bugs when starting.

And one more thing, my little setting has one deployment center for over 50-60 servers (deployed along the country - not all Fedora mostly RH 8 and 9 with even 2x7.2, yep ;) one with 2.6kernel although I know it is not supported) with single testing and compiling and auto updating, one for 150 workstations just the same

I hope that my setting isn't too childish for you
