    A lesson in trolling, sir:
It takes a track record of stability (insert favorite link to stable OS, be it BSD, Linux, Win2K etc. here) to change public perception.

If you are gonna bash MS, don't include Win2K in your list of stable OS's.

    Newbie troll, lesson #1:
Writing a string of chars will not cause scrolling, because taco's slashbot cuts it up. The key is to use HTML to your advantage. Try using several nested lists, then type a long line. The lists will push the comment way to the right, then the long line causes the scrolling.

    Happy Trolling!

I'm sick of hearing about the BSOD!

Go into any web development code shack and ask how many people get Blue Screens during their day.
I've haven't heard of having one in months.
Most Linux Zealots download crap from the internet that plays with memory inappropriately, or messes with the desktop. That's what's causing the crashes.

Now lets talk about linux. People never help newbies with linux. Why? Cause of job security/elitism. If everyone knew it, they wouldn't be special and needed. Why do people prefer command lines/editors like 'vi'? Cause of job security/elitism.

Why bash MS with security leaks and virii? Linux doesn't have those! Actually, lets look at the population of hackers/crackers/virus writers. About 0.000001% of them target the *nix platform, the rest on Microsoft. If Linux had the majority of the desktop market, we'd start seeing it get hit every five minutes.

I use Win2K at work, and WinME at home, and I've been nothing but pleased. I've run SuSE several times, but can't find a good reason to use it over windows. Coding with MS Dev Studio is a GREAT editor (any coder will tell you that), and DirectX is a great library to use.

I have no other arguement to provide, other than Windows is what I'll be using in the future (and suggesting it to anyone that asks).
