By the way, these are just about the only two movies he's made that don't have guns (or swords) in them. Not saying they don't, but they're his "cleanest" films for sure.
Nah, running is my thing too but I don't really get a rush from it like a lot of other people do. I run because I feel healthier due to running (lungs clearer, more energy, muscles less sore). And these days I'm more likely to skip running and instead just jog around the house to keep up with my toddler. My wife loves yoga and cardio workouts, but I can't get into stuff like that. I am generally coordinated enough to get into and enjoy a sport or whatever, but as I get older I've gotten lazier about it and just want to put in the minimum amount of effort that won't leave me feeling junky. That, and running or biking saves transportation time that I can spend not exercising, a reward in itself!:)
I meant that one isn't really trying hard enough if he can't find any physical activity one might enjoy. Surely there is something out there that burns more calories than sitting around that is more enjoyable than the stuff you normally consider "exercise." If not, that just seems like it...goes against nature, for lack of a better way of putting it. No offense intended. (and I certainly don't see your post as trolling)
This. And if there isn't some form of calorie burning activity that interests you enough to do (while adding the fact that you'll probably live longer if you do it), you just aren't trying very hard.
But calling the defendants "The Pirate Bay" isn't in effect prejudicial?
On the other hand, maybe the jury will all stop paying attention and start imagining Johnny Depp.
If McGee had done a version of Strawberry Shortarse... sorry...cake, exactly as the PA cartoon, it would be parody, legal, all quite legit. If PA does exactly the same cartoon, it's illegal???
That's what I'm wondering. Would McGee have to ask for permission to use a "classic children's character"? He certainly didn't for Alice or Oz, but does that mean Shortcake is open for parody too? I Am Not A Lawyer (I hate the acronym;), like most of the people posting here, but it would seem that American McGee would most likely get sued in the same way as Gabe and Tycho are if he tried using it without express permission from American Greetings. Any REAL lawyers out there, please tell us if there is a difference between McGee's style of parody and PA's "parody of a parody" and where the law stands on issues like the said "parody of a parody" type satire. Shouldn't it be the same as if American did it? And shouldn't cultural symbols like Strawberry Shortcake be placed within the same legislation as Through the Looking Glass and The Wizard of Oz? They're all grouped in the same childhood story category, after all. Copyrights aside, all of these should be open to parody equally, and if they let Alice and Dorothy get parodied, they should let Shortcake get the same treatment.
April 1st, the day where trolls are treated like gods. Nothing is offtopic, either. I can say whatever I want!
So remember, moderators, mod me up as Funny all you want, but if you use Offtopic, the world will surely explode due to a vast rise in intelligence on a day like today.
Getting on topic now, I read the article, but I can't for the life of me find where the "Evil Bit in IPv4" is in the Top 100. It really fooled me! Even after appearing for the third time, I still couldn't find any trace of a prank in it...
My brother got his Friday, too. He went to Walmart because it was $99.77, a whole.22 less than Best Buy! The people at Walmart couldn't figure out how to get it to register because apparently it wasn't supposed to be sold yet.
The best part is that I got his old GBA with Afterburner installed for free just because I told him about it!
Tell me about it. Stuck between AOL/TW Road Runner cable and Alltel DSL is horrible. I'm all for deregulation in this sector, but it's a newer technology so it might take awhile to come up. Just my two cents.
I really doubt any terrorist would bother with using model rockets as a delivery vehicle -- it would just waste their valuable (to them) toxins.
Not to mention their valuable time building the rockets. I spent like a day trying to put the decals on one, only to have it break right before launch.
I guess they could buy the prebuilt ones, but those don't go as high and are a lot more expensive. And if they're "smart" enough to think of using model rockets, they wouldn't dare buy the kiddie prebuilt rockets!
Mod parent +1 Offtopic :)
Moonwalk. But you need to restore the backup from when it was cool.
I would pay to see a Schrodinger's cat fight. So suspenseful!

Schwartzenegger, the guy from the humorless family classic Jingle All the Way? Of course he hates violence, he has Junior to think about!

TFA is trolling. Mod Toews down!
That was going to be my time traveler reference of choice. Sorry to nitpick, but Sam was the time traveler and Al was his invisible hologram buddy.
When dingos fly!
I was about to say, if Indiana Jones had LIDAR, those movies would be a lot shorter.

This isn't informative! This is another spelling/grammer nazi!
And how is this informative?
Karma: Excellent (whore)
Ohhh...
From AG to PA:
We love your comic
Just as much as the next guy,
But you went too far with one
And we're going to sue you out your eye.
I hope you're happy
That your comic sucked,
Because now all the kids
Will grow up to be ----ed.
Thank you.

Cartoon Network shows the Gundam stuff last I heard, which is like 25 years old.
Also, I'm not a huge anime fan, but Trigun is definitely the best I've seen. Vash is my hero.
I have a friend! I feel loved!
BTW, I know this guy in real life, I'm just giving him a hard time.
Tell me about it. Stuck between AOL/TW Road Runner cable and Alltel DSL is horrible. I'm all for deregulation in this sector, but it's a newer technology so it might take awhile to come up. Just my two cents.

There's a big difference between being a troll and being an idiot. That fine line lies somewhere to the right of me.
:)
...or is it to the left?
So what's all this Google stuff everybody's talking about?
Wow, I didn't know General Electric tried to make it onto the PC market :-)
