I guess I can chuckle about it now. It would be a great story to tell my buddies sitting around the poker table one day.
I just too embarrassed about the whole thing. Back in college I always thought I would love to do adult video. However, being some faceless out-of-shape guy in a porn video is not something to brag about.

Somebody will eventually post that we should not publish this information because other countries will get it and thus be able to create nuclear weapons.
Of course, this is bull. But I found this quote from the article puts it best:
GS: It should by now be clear to everyone that in the past we relied far too much on secrecy. We arrogantly assumed that we were the only ones who could develop nuclear weapons, and that therefore we could retain our monopoly. That kept us from pursuing international arrangements that might have held the nuclear arms race under some sort of control.
I don't wanna dive into a political rant here, but I think the balance of power, combat, and international discussion is vital to keeping the world safe from the threat of nuclear war.

The astronauts will be equipped with the capability to patch a hole as large as 14 inches in diameter, using one of three repair techniques still being developed. The best method will be selected around March of next year, officials said.
Holy cow. Can you imagine the stress of repairing a foot-sized hole in the shuttle? Talking about your a$ being on the line.
The problem is now the shuttle suddenly got more expensive. By investing in all of this, they are going to make inspection and repair of even minor stuff a big part of every mission.
Taking a look at the surface is the shuttle is slightly more complex than walking around and kicking the tires of your car. This is going to add expensive time to every mission.
Plus, they are now going to find tons of breaks that are not important... but they will be obligated to fix anyway.

I have seen the contractor system work very well in the past... however, it took multiple redundant contractors to complete one system.
For example, we recently setup a system in a clinic that deals with medical records. One contractor brought in the boxes, networked them, and left. Then we brought in our security contractors that locked down the boxes as tight as possible. After that, we had our internal security guru try to pick apart their security... and they came back and corrected the problems they left.
The security guys are not the general installation guys.
I don't think most users wanted netscape to develop into the most buggy, bloated browser in the market!
I remember way back when netscape was actually great alternative to IE... all the geeks used it. Then they started trying to build the great palace of netscape on top of it... and it crumbled.
If they would have listened to their users, they would have stayed small... and probably done a lot better moneywise.
Now they are having to build a small browser from the beginnings up--after the money is gone.

Information like this is already known to all the governments that want it.
If you think mp3 are easily traded, 30 sheets of text/information has been traded and sold a million times over.
To hide behind this information prevents countries from forming the deals and treaties that really protect us.
You fail it.

:)
Note my question marks in my original post as I didn't mean this to be taken as a truth.
I would be ashamed if any of my former teachers saw my comment... or my spelling...
Teachers rock ass and do not get paid for it. Teachers and programmers share the quality that they are underpaid for their work.
My comment was a reflex at somebody in academia making judgements without any experience.
