Let's face it, the people tend to buy the machine with a bigger number when both machines cost the same.
Even though Athlon is faster, which one sounds better, 2Ghz or 1.4Ghz???
And which one would average joe get if they both cost the same???
Ok, the article suggested that 100Mbps is too fast for the HD to handle, I would know since I only get around 50Mbps between two computers with 100Mbps at home but 10Mbps is way too slow to transfer huge files between computers.
The connection is completely useless if the other end couldn't handle anything more than 1mbps. 100Mbps connection won't do you any good at all but it is sure damn nice for bragging:)

kidda reminds me of road rallying, basically you meet with bunch of people driving in the middle of nowhere with no real purposes AND wasting gas at the same time.

At least they don't try to rob you. I've seen in on the news that criminals in China stole cabs and post themselves as cabbies and rob their passengers AND terminate you afterward?
Well, at least the cops now would know where you end up...
How true, for the longest time, I can't even tell what.NET is, sure it's about people M$ for services..NET seems more like a marketing idea than anything else.
It would be nice to see Star/Open Office offer some innovaitive and compelling features into their package. Until then, I will stick with MS Office for now.
Can someone tell me why you would need a breathing mask for this?
And if you look at the pictures, two of those bikes doesn't even have windshield, talk about danger riding one of these things on a crowded street...

I have a couple of laptops and probably would never overclock them even if I can. I am more interested in battery battery hours.
