    Its not censorship since they are not a government entity.

    They really aren't exposing themselves any more to suits by including it then not as long as it has a legitimate purpose and there is a statement to some effect that they only intend it to be used that way. ( else every gun and knife maker in the world would be gone by now )

    Why flush money down a losing venture until it starts to see a return? Because they can. And one of the many faults of capitalism is that those with a ton of money can do the stupidest shit and still come out okay.

    When your a monopoly with enough money, its called 'investment', not 'flushing'.

    Without processes your people have nothing useful to do and your entire business model is suspect. Processes MUST come first. People can be inserted or removed as needed.

    If you HAVE to .. then charge her the cost of the song if you bought it from your average digital download 'house'. ( going rate is 99cent i do think ) and any profit she saw if she sold 'copies'.

    At a certain point a monopolies 'rights' become limited/modified as it interferes with the common good of society.

    I personally would think that Google may fall under that premise now. Once you become the sole practical source, you don't get to choose what you do with it.
