    No, i cant install it on an "average Dell", but there are plenty of clone boards that do support a non hacked copy of OSX. Now there may be some license issues, but that is aside from your question.

    My ipod is managed via my freebsd workstaion, so its not touched itunes in its life. ( its an older 3G and 1g nano, YMMV on newer models ). It also only holds unencumbered mp3 files.

    Umm i can run anything i want on my mac, even windows if i was so inclined..
    My ipod has never touched an apple formated file.

    No i wasn't trolling i was asking a serious question.

    If everyone ONLY supported standards and didn't instead cater to the idiosyncrasies of each browser, a lot of these problems would go up in smoke. We are in effect "enablers".

    I agree, where i work we have 30000+ workstations. IE7 was proven to buggy so its not being deployed.

    Ultimately isn't that what all 'degrees' are about? Teaching you how to learn by giving you the fundamentals in your field?

    That could easily box you in and reduce your chances too. If you only are an expert in XYZ, company A may only use ABC and wont even talk to you. Even if you choose the most popular language today, it may or may not be when you are ready to look for a job. ( or get downsized and have to look after years in the field ).

    However, if you are versed in several, it shows you have learning/comprehension potential and have a leg up on what company A uses and might just get the interview.
