    This is what happens when you skip over qualified technicians to hire high school students or college dropouts who are 'good with computers' to save a little money.

    No, this is what happens when you create a repair industry by convincing people they cant do their own work. Look at most any "service industry", plumbing, automotive.. they are all the same. mostly dishonest vultures preying on the uninformed public.

    True, but they could have dominated the desktop and server market. And with universal binaries, they could have supported both architectures until the right power chip came along for more powerful laptops.

    I also think we would have seen the lower power chips eventually if they had stayed continued with the Power chip a little longer. Walking away from it destroyed any leverage they had, so we never saw what was possible..

    Not all of those rifles are manufactured overseas. In fact, there is a mandated % of American parts even on imported ones.

    Free AR-15's from toyota? I doubt it, they wouldn't pick such a finicky firearm to give people. There is a reason the ak is still around after all these decades. Its well designed for its task.

    Its not a true ak-47 at the price he's offering the voucher for. A real one, would be in the thousands ( legal that is, i have no idea the black market value ), so its just a semi-automatic rifle.

    Walking away was in the figurative sense and includes 'please stop', or 'i don't like that'. If the request is made, sure one would not include them in the future. Its the initial 'oh, we cant offend someone' attitude that i'm irritated with.

    Personally i don't walk on eggshells because i really don't care what people think of me. ( and it so happens that little of what i say is actually offensive, but that is just the way it is, and not due to some grand plan to avoid offending people ). and NOTHING said would offend me, as i'm not that thin skinned. I expect nothing less ( or more ) from others then what i do myself.

    Everyone is offended by something, by your suggestion we should all exist in a box and not speak to any other human.

    If you are offended by what i say and you don't walk away, its your problem, not mine. Im really tired of all this "PC" garbage where we are expected to walk on eggshells all the time. What happened to the so called victim taking some responsibility?

    Forgot to mention that i do remember installing stock OSX ( Jaguar ) on PearPC a while back. ( and im big into virtualization so doing that wouldn't be a stretch for me. )
