    MS Guy: Oh.. we haven't really encountered that before, can't help..

    With our level of support, we have never got that response and they are committed to find a solution, and do. We also don't communicate by email. We have a dedicated live contact for us to call 24/7. ( not that he's the expert, he's more of a point man to get the right people on the issue ).

    We have even had them onsite for those really bad head-scratcher problems where a remote view just didn't cut it..

    My comment was a response about his signature concerning not carrying weapons on commercial flights, not about anti-child porn 'crusaders'. Except perhaps for your built-in agendas that cloud your judgement, there was NO reference to porn of any kind in my statement, not even remotely.

    You need to read a little closer before you go tossing stones there bud.

    To be nice and address your statement however, ill give you that anti-*child* porn 'crusaders' are not part of the lunatic fringe, however, i do think that anti-porn 'crusaders' qualify as lunatics and shouldn't be lumped in the same group. One is good, the other is really twisted and evil.

    I have not heard that. Public record is what the tape would be so i don't see how they can deny you access to the evidence in court.

    It really does exist, for those people willing to pay the big bucks.

    And sometimes you find they actually DO know what they are talking about, with their products at least. Once you get into the depths of the support structure you no longer see the 1st level 'by the book' call centers and discover that elusive developer.. who actually does have a clue.

    While it might be a pretty modern front end to usenet it doesn't help the fact that the back end feed is slowly being strangled by spam, and now legislation.

    It all depends on the state laws in your area.

    For example some states let you record the call without telling the other 1/2 of the party. Only one 1/2 needs to know. Others, both.. it all varies.

    This is why they have cameras in most cars now, in a sealed box that the patrol officer cant get into.

    Hard to fake the evidence when you get get to it. It serves to watch *both* parities for when they end up in court.

    I thought the guy was puling a gun on me, so i blocked his arm, i apologize that it was a camera instead and it hit the ground and shattered. *case dismissed*

    Shouldn't have pulled out a 'questionable' object on a cop during an incident. Feel lucky they don't shoot you instead.

    I think that is the case in a few other areas as well. That is is illegal to record a public official doing official things without permission. ( or something like that )

    NAT worked out of the box for me, it was TUN that i never got working ( on a linux host anyway )

    Went back to VMware since that is what we have at work anyway ( ESX flavor )

    And that also means i cant perform a *legal* activity with their product, especially now that several media places use BT to distribute the content you purchased?

    I personaly have lost nothing, i can remove the ECM from any car i buy or completely reprogram it, replace the EFI with a carb, drive manual transmissions, etc. You also dont know the age of the chassis/body of the car i normally drive.

    So please only speak for yourself when you claim ive lost control of *my* car.
