I agree, if they have that different of a goal, just fork and call it something else. Many will stay with Guido's Python, others will migrate to the new langauge.
Problem solved and no one needs to get killed in the process.
How big is a song? What bit rate? What if i like songs from the 70's that is 25 minutes long, or from the punk age at about 2 minutes? what about all these video services that are selling movies? ( like some of comcast's partners )
What garbage..
Oh do they charge for email collection, which is totally out of the users control? I have 10's of thousands of spam a month, would i get dinged by this policy? What about a random DoS attack, do they get dinged for that 'incoming' too?
Perhaps this was actually intentional, and the are using this team as a sacrificial lamb, so to speak.
If you read thru the emails and get a idea of the potential scale of the operation, it might scare you away from p2p if you dont have any balls.. Perhaps thats the idea, to weed out the 'little people'?
I do believe that the government only has to publish the salaries of *positions*, unless they are elected officials. They dont ( and really shouldn't ) tie them to actual individuals for publishing.
I also question what was on the stub, the address, and empID perhaps? That stuff shouldnt be published.
I was actually thinking of trading in my 4Gen pod for a new color one with more space.
I guess ill have to choose another vendor. As much as i like apple, i refuse to be tied down like that. Ill have to reconsider this again when its time to upgrade to a newer mac too. They might have lost a lifetime customer. ( im still pissed about the swtich to intel CPUs... this might be the final straw )
Well, you already paid to view it via your cable/sat bill, or via those damned commercials.
If the show was broadcast during the time you had service, you had The right to 'timeshift' record it, ( via tape, dvr, etc ) so logically you have a right to get the video somewhere else, at the same level of quality that was available to you at the time of the broadcast.
If it was not broadcast in your area, or you didn't have 'access' at that time, then perhaps there is a argument.
This should scare anyone that likes their right to free speech. And yes, even terrorists should have the right to *speak*. If you restrict their right to speak, its not much of a stretch to restrict yours too.

As things improve each generation, and reduce the need for support people, the jobs get fewer and fewer. Only a handfull of people will be needed at the end of all this. A lot like toaster support.

I dont see how they can count incoming emails against you, since you really cant control that yourself.
Would be great fun to randomly pick a comcast user and poof him off the net, if they are really that stupid at comcast.

Only if it gets there via legal routes. If its not legally in the public record, its really not.
Even if they 'made it right' later, being *this* incompetent up front is worrisome and ill be sure not to purchase from them, ever.
If the documents were leaked illegally, they wont be admissable in court anyway, so i doubt they have much of an effect.
But i do agree the entire control thing is a disaster.

Use an attorney.
Oh, i wasnt. The government was publishing first, i blame the people responsible for that..

Real effective for tracking freenet traffic.
Actually, yes it did the a lot of good. He was ruining the company by overstaying his usefulness, and would have destroyed it given enough time.
Like is said before, he's good for brining ideas to the table, but needs to get out of the way afterwards, but his ego wont allow that.
If he would just be 'idea guy' and 'promoter' that would be fine, but he's gotta stick his hands in everything.
No, that would be Steve Jobs that has his head up there, not Apple as a company.
Remember, they kicked him out once before. I think its past time to do it again.
He has his place at starting 'insanely great ideas', then he needs to get the hell out of the way, which he cant seem to do.

Last i heard Google ran linux, who's roots didnt come from Redmond. Also, the last i heard the IP network came from other places, not Microsoft.
This guy stoned or just drank too much of the koolaid himself?

When you agreed to the EULA.
Your recourse if you don't agree is to stop using the software.
They also got lucky.
Its not always about hard work, often times its who you know, and getting lucky being in the right place at the right time.
Excuse me? I'm paying for that with my taxes, why am i not getting a refund?
Another 'its for the children' type of maneuver.

Be afraid.
There is a catch, and i guarantee its in Microsoft's favor.
We will find out soon enough, im afraid.
Except you don't have to contribute your work back to them, unlike other 'open' ( but restrictive ) licenses.
If you use the webpage and choose the 'personal' license, it shows up in your email in about 20 minutes.
No fuss at all.
Cool, that was the one thing that was missing in the past with the free version. All i ever found was ix86. Anything else was $.
