Allowing the supreme court to pick and choose what they want to rule on was a HUGE mistake. They can let things stand without taking a stand..
Even if they were being paid off to rule one way or another, at least there would be a record and be easier to see a pattern to be investigated. This way there is nothing.. But cowards.
Sure, there will be some people left coding, but in a practical sense the days are limited that makes its a viable career choice.
For most people canned software is 'good enough' and RAD tools are getting to the point even a non programmer can create something usable on modern hardware. ( great, no, but usable ).
Well, the media has to continue to play the game as good little followers, demonizing anyone that doesn't play by the 'rules'.
Just like hackers are bad. *nix is a tool for said hackers Copying any file is piracy. And of course, god help you if you want to buy software or music not in the 'store'....
That sounds good on paper, but it takes resources to develop the 'classic' interface.
Now, while i don't agree with changes for the sake of change, they did make the decision to go in another direction and there really isn't a need to keep spending money on legacy.
Legacy support is part of Microsoft's problem that has held them back. But to be fair, if you leave existing platforms in the dust every time you come out with new product, you wont have customers for long.. I am still surprised that Apple pulled it off with the 86k to PPC and then again with PPC to intel.. We bitched and moaned at first but did adapt.
Is the bandwidth overage charges.. As caps lower and overage charges increase, you can forget the 'cloud', be it good or bad it wont matter as no one will be able to afford it and we will *need* to go back to hard CD distributions and local storage.
Better check your contract, few ( if any ) home services will actually guarantee your rate. It may look like it does, but read closely and you will find it does not.
Some business accounts do, but not all of them either until you go to a dedicated line..
And once you move elsewhere, they will do the same. Its a no-win game for the consumers. I hope you have wifi at your home and business, at least that is a big chunk of your day.

great thing to get kids interested in early, so by the time they reach working age, there wont be job..
Only while accessing their store. They don't control what you say outside of that.

No, SHE waited, not him. :)
To whom?
There goes that fortune. Easy come, easy go.
*yawn*
How about you get out of the way before the industrialists roll over you. "Green" is not the future, no more than it was the past.
Going down this path will end Apple. Which is too bad, as i have always liked apple products and own many ( all the way back to the ][ ).
Go hug that tree and leave us adults be.
Every "rule" has at least one hole you can use...
No, that isn't what i said. If you are capable, re-read my post and you will see i said something far different.
It is if you want to grow your business. Screw the 'greenies'.
If you protest you get your way, even when it doesn't make fiscal sense.
Great lesson.

If you used materials that convert to a solid when a current is run thru them i think it would work better.
I know that exists for fluids, so the trick would be for something less solid in its normal state. ( think true synthetic mussels ).

One solution to being illegally tracked like this is to remove the battery if you are wanting to remain private.
Just when we had another good homegrown energy source option. I guess they had to stop it somehow, typical shortsighted idiots.
It was sarcasm, and i guess no one remembers that idiot Ted Turner calling people who tape and fast forward thru commercials thieves.

Now he will be shunned ( black listed ) by the very people that he makes a living from, the 'industry'.
I commend him for speaking out with some sanity, but i do hope he just didn't destroy his future in the process.

Has always been an effective tactic for manipulating public opinion.
He who controls the media, controls the future.
