The record companies are going to be degraded to Engeered bands and the remaining performers are going to accumulate wealth through ticket sales and devote fans buying albums.

Sun could benefit from people using their hardware. I'd use an outdated ultraprac if I could keep the system up-to-date. I guess they don't want to lose the support revenue.
Some one predicted that in the near future Microsoft will bow-down and start distributing software that runs on Linux? Slashdot covered this months[?] ago.

BETA is supperior to VHS, basing quality as proliferation of the general market is asinine.
