I've kinda wondered why we don't adopt a mutual distruction policy like we did during the hight of the cold war. You might be able to nuke DC, but Mecca and your economic centers go too. Seemed to be a good deterrent so far.
I'm pretty sure if the entier western world agreed to shun them and their oil, things would contiune until we're all praying to mecca (not that it's wrong if you do it by choice) or dead.
Another handy quote "Speak softly and carry a big stick" I think the jihadists only exsits because it's not politically correct to deal with them appropreatly. But yes you are correct. We let them win by fearing them.
There is one defense.
A good offence, never had a problem with a dead person setting off a bomb (Having a nuke wired to go off when you die doesn't count, unless you are the coolest inuit out there)
I hate to tell you, but Israel is the government, they might not always do a stellar job. but compared to the palistinian forces they look like saints.
Just how bigoted can you be? Because 0% of the problem is caused by the palistinians?
I'm glad that it is that clear cut. Because we all know that this area of the world was soooo great before isrial was founded.
Well since the courts left it up to the local community to choose what is obsecne and not, It's probabbly up to utah to determine for themselfs what is pronogrpahy
The free market died with Anti-discriminatory laws. Before I'm called a bigot, I do think that discrimination in the workplace is wrong on several levels, but if the gov can tell me I have to hire whites or blacks or anyone else, than I've allready lost the free market
I liked a lot of the other zelda games, but I haven't been able to play windwaker, It's not that the cell shading bugs me because it looks to cartoony, but for some reason the graphcis in windwaker make me horribly motion sick/give me headaches. This is the only game cell shaded or not that does this. Am I alone?
I really love Uplink too (Ambrosia are the demi-gods of mac gaming). The only problem I had is that the game was a bit too linear, the lower level missions just stop coming, and if you didn't buy exatly the right programs you can't complete any more missions
There are many questionable issues to deal with when you run a networked server..
Child Pornography
I dont know if you are legally responsible, but do you want to help the anonomous distribution of child pornography, especially if the children are actually being harmed?
Terrorism
Networks like this would make it easy and untracable for terrorists to send their commuinications without being traced to a location. Do you want to be unwittingly helping Osama bin Laden send out messages and hide his location?
Spam
Do you want to be responsible for people who use the internet to spam (not just email, which I believe is blocked by default)?
This also applies to any other illegal activity.. Do you want to help people commit crimes?
I guess it's time we end the internet so no one can use it to commit crimes.
FFIX did it for me, couldn't stand the "Prescious moments" graphics, the cartoony villians, the way too easy gameplay, or the dumbed down card game. THey need to make FF VI today with totally modern graphics, and maybe some voice acting, change the limit breaks to something most people will see at least once during the game, and you have as perfect as a game could be.
My personal dream fix would be if they fixed the bug with OS X where if you are downloading something and you close all your browser windows (Not your download window) it will not let you open a new window until your download finishes.
I want my libertarian socialism, dammit. I doubt I'll see it though.
How do those two go together? One of them is a theory about how things whould be better of if the government (and everyone else) where less invovled, the other is a system that by necessity forces government into your life.
On a completely different note, I would be interested in seeing which teaching you are reffering to, if I am in error (I'm certinally not perfect), I'd appreciate more detail. (I do not mean to "call you out" on this, if you are right then you will have made me aware of something I am currently not)
You do have a good point. The whole speck in your brother's eye / plank in your eye thing. I think a lot of Christians push hard on this one, because (As far as I can tell) there really are not mainline groups out there pushing for acceptance and tolerance of murder. It's quite natural to push harder in areas you feel you are loosing, No?

You see unlike biology, facts are binary. A fact is either true or false. A diversity of wrong facts helps no one but ingornace himself.

Dude, I'm not sure I'd show the non-cleaned up version to that group.
I'd argue we're still apes in caves, our spears are just semi-balistic now, and our caves are above ground.

The funny thing is when the right in this country says exatly what you just said about any other social program, they are heartless.
The shame is that most of what the right complains about isn't even opt-out, this is opt in.
ok, how do we go about blacklisting these guys, their affiliates, and everyone they ever loved (Kidding on the last one)?

Hey, thanks! I learned something new today.

When I saw this I thought they where copying the Grey/Darker Grey boot screen apple gives you before the first part of panther loads.
Has anyone managed to compile this on OS X? I am trying but I get 4 errors on line 469.

Rigth so let's make murder legal, because otherwise It'd just be inforcing my belifes on others. All law is someone's morals.
