At this point negative headlines do not help their stance. The lawsuits are real and they will be settled in court. I think its important for the negative press to keep flowing. If we stop paying attention to their actions then maybe that could be interpretted as us not caring what the outcome is or worse that we fear what the outcome will be.
With the rise in text book costs every year and the cost to maintain a decent library couldn't the school possibly save money? What if they have a digital library of books, no waiting in line, easy to maintain, no cost of replacing lost books, and they can convert the old library into a couple more class rooms.
Im not saying the "test" program won't cost extra, but in the future it could mean savings.
Aint it cool news reported the title was going to be The Creeping Fear. It isn't fact yet but its from a trusted source.
Here is the original story AICN
What is to stop them from suing the IP number and using the court case as a means to identify the user? Didn't the RIAA have to take that aproach after losing a similair lawsuit ?
It has a few problems that I expect will dissapear as it nears 1.0 , but the ability to keep all of your chatts and msgs in a tabbed window is an awsome feature. I also have a spell checker installed to help me with a problem that me and about 95% of slashdot users have. It does all the usual stuff like multi platform communication and everything AOL's aim offers.

They should be given props for their innovative/userfriendly approach to getting their name out there. I hope it works out well for them.
Then maybe State representatives can take a hint and offer a web-based faxable feedback form also:)
From a marketing stand point it would be a large step backwards to remove "mozilla" from the naming scheme. I am glad this is not the case, but now wonder why they made such a big deal of the code names in their newest roadmap? And why not just develop the projects under the decidedly less h4x0r names "mozilla mail" and "mozilla browser"?
Creativity shouldn't take a back seat to your lack of patience. How interesting would comercials be if they where 30 seconds of just the facts in black and white. Seriously its a site built around entertainment, let them entertain you. Ambiguity is kind of fitting for a movie like "The Matrix".
