    $20 an hour... that's cheap. Most people I know how charge for coding perl charge at least $100, if not higher.

    I beleive that after 100 lines of perl code, no matter how cleanly written, all the source will become unmanagable.

    I bought one on Thursday (Ordered at 6 PM on Thursday from apple.com, received at 2 PM on Friday).

    I am a perl developer, and am very satisfied thus far. The biggest advanatage I see over Linux is Warcraft III. 'Nuff said.

    You are not unique. (a little more rare, but not unique)

    You reach a ceiling. Don't count on that doubling forever. Live as cheap a life style as possible because, you will hit a ceiling. Don't expect a doubling every year.

    Give it the ability to roll around and look in all directions. Give it a microphone. Include touch sensor. Give it a speaker.

    Create 1000 virtual reality booths that are connected to the robots via satalite. Let the children explore the worlds/cultural of 999 other places.

    I just found this cool new thing called google. It is a 'search engine', whatever that is. Any ways, it allows you to type in key words that your interested in, and it spits back some web pages with related information. Try it out http://www.google.com

    And things in the computer world never change, and things that are now have always been, will always be. good thing you weren't friends with Christopher Columbus, George Washington, THomas Edison, Abraham Lincoln, Larry Wall, etc. We'd still be living in caves talking about how how wheels will never work, good old fashioned muscle is the only way to travel and work.

    The ozone hole above the south pole is SHRINKING! There is no global warming... Scientist can not predict 10,000 year global weather trends based on 500 years of studying weather (if that...). Car's don't negatively affect the enviornment, so it should not be a consideration at all.

    yeah, but look at the infrastructure that had to exists for the success of traditional cars. trans-continental high ways and city-outer belts are not cheap at all...

    This is a great way to report a greater percentage of users using IE than what is reality. 90% of our users are using IE, shouldn't you. In reality, 10% are, but the other 80% are reporting that they are IE.
