So which group has a greater right to free speech?
I would argue that the protesters do simply because they hav enot spent the past 8 years trying to deny everyone else's rights.
They did not plant IEDs, nor did they spray urine on anyone.
Kudos on the police for raiding Dr. Kool's home and confiscating his carving knife, computer, journal, dirty bathwater that his wife was bathing in and his sex toys.
This is the NPD, not the US Republican Party. I agree, they most likely have the best intentions. However, being the NDP, there is very little chance that they will be able to get this bill passed before they go shrieking on about some other issue.
Seriously, has Jack Layton ever managed to get anything passed?
I looked into all sorts of PostScript hacks for this thing. I tried hooking it up to a PC and printing over the network. Finally gave up and sold the printer to a windows-only relative. The Samsung is smaller and quieter anyway.
Bought a new iMac a few months back. Upgrading the RAM was trivial. In fact, Apple went out of their way to make it easy for me: there is a separate opening in the case so you don't have to remove the cover (like you would for a hard drive upgrade).
I ran Myth a long time ago and I liked it, but when I got my XBox360 and realised that it had a Media Centre Extender built in, I install XP MCE. I have since bought a second XBox360 and have both running off the same (now Vista Ultimate) box. Works great. With the XBoxes connected to the TVs instead of the computer, I can avoid all sorts of annoyances wth using a TV as a monitor (computer setting weird resolution, losing the TV after repeated power cycles, etc).
Plus, I heard a rumour that you can play video games on the 360.
Sounds a lot like my install except I was upgrading a Media Centre Edition XP box. Vista detected all of my hardware (including my tuners) perfectly. Install, reboot, watch TV.
Saying that politicians are stupid is simply a knee-jerk reaction to George W. Bush.
I heard Bill Clinton speak recently and I would say that he is one of the most eloquent, intelligent men around.
We've already got this up here in Canada. SaskTel has a bit of a reputation for rolling out stuff before everyone else. They are small enough that new features and services aren't too hard for them to roll out.
Would you really trust this government's version of any story?

Which of those items are illegal to posses in the privacy of your home? "Better throw out the empty gin bottles Martha, DHS is coming."
Really? I wonder how many people were inconvenienced by civil rights marches 60's. You must not be a big fan of local parades.
Err, no. I am indeed right. Check out belmolis' comment http://yro.slashdot.org/comments.pl?sid=451786&cid=22416394
Yeah, what he said.
Wikipedia is indeed wrong.

I love my new iMac, but I have a one year old Canon laser printer/scanner/copier that won't work with it. One year old, not 10-20.

Yep, you're right. My point was that putting it on /. would bring out the racist comments.
Can I mod this entire story down as racist flame bait?
Technically, you were never at war with him (or his country) in the first place. To my knowledge, nobody has formally declared war since WWII.
Fuck off. Thank you.

I believe that you are agreeing with me. Perhaps I'm wrong...

These are the two most thoughtful comments I've ever read on /.
Well, they did invent the language...
Now if they'd just offer Tivo up here in Canada.
Check the document, it covers "Removable electronic memory cards, removable flash memory storage of any type and removable microdrives"
