    What does promoting general welfare mean?

    It's a limit on the taxing and spending power. The constitution requires that all spending be for the general welfare, not for the specific benefit of any class, region, etc.

    Here's a little tip for you, sparky: tossing off terms like "tea bagger" and invoking the anathema name of "fox news" doesn't in any way invalidate what someone is saying.

    The real problem is that pinheads like you want to keep pretending that the USA has a revenue problem instead of a spending problem. It's still possible to prevent the USA from having a Soviet-style collapse, but to do that we'd have to immediately cut government spending to less than it collects in tax revenues.

    If Micro-USB were any good, Apple would have used it. Apple chose USB for the iMac back in 1988 because it was better than ADB. In fact, it was that decision that really put USB on the map. It wasn't getting much traction in the Wintel world before that.

    Engineering time is precious, and Apple doesn't just invent new connectors for shits and giggles. Where there's an existing standard that does what they need, they use it.

    Since you allegedly graduated from an American law school, you should recognize the following text:

    The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

    What the NSA is doing is not merely a crime, it is a usurpation of powers explicitly prohibited to the government in the document that is the ENTIRE legal basis for the government's existence. If you expect the American people to put up with it, then with all due respect, fuck you with a red-hot poker, you power-grubbing geriatric cunt.
