    Wouldn't that be racist then? Wouldn't that be failing your role as an example to the rest of us (proles)? Wouldn't that be common assault, caught on camera, and gone unpunished? Wouldn't that be the wrost kind of abuse of your position? Wouldn't that amount to the complete adn abject abuse of the power *given* to you by the people? No?

    I was beginning to wonder, no-one else seems to have mentioned this - and after all the discussions that went on just before release too.

    PHP-CLI is a good thing for PHP, and I can't wait to start using it. It'll be interesting to see how Perl reacts too, with Perl 6 some way off, and PHP taking a big bite of out of their territory, and especially since both of them have somewhat individual implementations of OO code ;-)

    /stand/sysintall is a pretty nice installer, and it's a GUI. Sure it doesn't have lots of penguins stamped on it, but it does the trick.

    which is pretty much what we all have to do to get Java apps working, or Flash crap to whizz all over our screens.

    So why not install Perl? Ever heard of a killer app? It tends to be a carrot and stick exercise for new technologies to become accepted, after all.
