Actually, OpenBSD 3.0 was available for download since nov 25th, and a few patches (security fixes) are already available.
Here is the list: http://www.openbsd.org/errata.html
This feature is only available from the 'Googlebar'.
The problem is that this GoogleBar only plugs in Internet Explorer, so *nix geeks won't be able to rate sites..
It consists on small faces on which you click. (happy or unhappy)
Maybe you should use both licenses, like OggVorbis did.
The bundled OggVorbis utility software is released under the terms of the GNU GPL, and, the libraries and SDKs are released under the more business friendly BSD license.
Note that developers are still free to use the specification to independently write closed-source implementations of OggVorbis which are not bound by these licenses.
Does Internet Explorer actually works with WineX ?
AFAIK, it is pretty integrated 'into' windows so maybe it cannot run with WineX, since Wine Is Not an Emulator.
The new structure is being called the Intel TeraHertz transistor because the transistors will be able to switch on and off more than one trillion times per second. In comparison, it would take a person more than 15,000 years to turn a light switch on and off a trillion times.
This means that a human can switch a light ON and OFF 2 times a second.
Hey! Intel's engineers are really fucking slow. I now understand why it took them years to reach the gigahertz while it took only months to AMD's.
Considering that the people who downloaded the 2.4.15 kernel got their file-system crashed, i guess they will have to re-download the whole 26MB package:)
What will happen to these TLDs:.EDU and.GOV ?
Since they are only used by the US governement and US schools, i think they should be moved to.EDU.US and.GOV.US
Whups, looks like there are 2 teams.. 'Slashdot' and 'Team Slashdot'.
Both have the same founder, tho.

Okey sure, but do you really think pacmac could replace a Human?
I think we're talking here about human-looking virtual caracters.

I guess the first one was Lara Croft.
She came from a game, and not a movie, but still is a star

Both Nokia 9110 and 9210 have a keyboard, a few PDA features, and of course, cellphones.
They're pretty expensive, and probably not as powerful as regular PDAs, but they may fit your needs.
For more info, check the nokia website:
9910
9210
The 7650 is pretty interresting too, but has no keyboard.
-J
Ok now, this is not a flame, but is using a 'recent' 2.4 kernel a so good idea?
I think PDAs should choose an older kernel, which might be more stable.

At least, that's a good news for Slashdot :)

As slashdot got Meta-Moderation, i think google should use Meta-Rating, so users could help detect spammers.

Oh, by the way, if you're already a Slashdot moderator and want to know if you can Meta-Moderate, just check

Being Open source does NOT mean it has to be free ($$).
Both GPL and BSD license allow commercial use of the code.
-J
Too bad it has gone to closed source.. older versions used to be free (as in beer & GPL).
You can still download the source of the 0.61 version directly from their homepage, or from sourceforge

Google does nothing more than a regular Web user. It simply follows links, and indexes the content in its database.
What's wrong with this?
Nothing. Human stupidity.

For those forced to use Win32, the alternative to Galeon is K-meleon.
It is available from Sourceforge.net too: kmeleon.sf.net
