google already block php from querying, try
wget http://www.google.com/search?q=moo --user-agent=PHP
opposed to:
wget http://www.google.com/search?q=moo --user-agent=Mozilla
it stops fopen and file working, you can either modify the source or use fsockopen though.
if they don't want php scripts parsing google, why would they want this?:)
