The bigger problem with the processing is that echolocation requires 2 organs. A mouth to send the signal and an ear to receive. Sight for example, only requires eyes alone to see.

If there is one thing I learned about my trip to Asia not that long ago.... They love their mainstream artists.
Their pop culture revolves around a small number of top 10 artists. All the school girls worship them. The US is the exact opposite with lousy mainstream artists that can't sing or make music period. With a majority of the talent underground. That's why iTunes work here, and might not in Japan.
I wonder what the status of that is. So much talk way back about Holographic cubes that write on light flashes. No needle grinds or physical motor. Can be chucked across a living room no problem. Where is this stuff now?
I have been in 3 very different Hi-tech companies the past 8 years. Not a single HR division in any of these companies even care for a degree. Companies love to hire people with no degrees or half degrees(2 out of 4 years). Why? Cause they are cheaper to hire. They are still good people by HR's book.
I had a friend who used to research at Mass general hospital years ago. The problem is not the budget. Problem was always "people resources".
MA has one of the highest turn over rates for doctors in the country. Doctors make the same nationwide, they prefer not living in a state with inflated real estate prices and top-10 worst traffic and winters. The influx of student doctors from local colleges overwhelm these hospitals. Which forces any veteran doctor... a teacher. That's 2 jobs in 1.

Now it's all ABC, Ebert Roeper, Newsweek same shit you see on the newstand. Why waste time with a new medium, if it is the same people delivering the same message.

I used to have an old mac that I tried to run PowerPC linux with. I have never had a hard time with any distro. This one had me stumped for good.
