Don't forget, this is the same country that brought us Ebonics, and even tried to have it instituted as an official language.
Heh, only in America, right?
Someone stuffed the guts of a computer into a tree.
How is this news? This is just as retarded as the guy who stuffed a server into a pumpkin. There's nothing special about it.
If this setup could control the lights, or if wiring the bulbs up so that interacting with them would play different music, then it might be interesting.
But until then, it's just a computer in a tree. Yay. I'll go and stuff an old 486 into a bird feeder and get a frontpage spot on Slashdot!
Heh, I bet you thought you were going to see another essay on japscat/bukkake/Taco Snotting/whatever. Sorry to disappoint you. But since I have your attention anyways, I would like to take the time to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
Take a moment from your busy day to look around you and be thankful for what you have..Your friends and your family. Be thankful for the opportunities you enjoy in life that so many others around the world could only dream of.
Don't forget to take a moment to give shout outs to Rob and Jeff for the crap they put up with day to day to bring us the best late breaking and up-to-date news this side of Open Source. And his staff for their objective, non-partisan sense of professionalism and journalistic integrity we have come to respect and admire.
We wish you all many more years of success!
Anyways, that is all. I'm sure I could list many more things to be thankful for, but I had best stop here, lest I be modded down as troll, or redundant. To all of you, have a good evening, and peace be with you.
Btw, while you were reading this, Miguel De Icaza was out front stealing your hubcaps.
Well, if you want to be specific, everything is a rip-off of the Zerox GUI design. So both MS and the Unix crowd are in the wrong.
It's funny how we haven't seen an intuitive UI design since.. Well, we've actually *never* seen an intuitive design.
And since the open source crowd has done nothing but regurgitate Microsoft's ideas ever since the first Linux GUI was written, you can only imagine what the future will hold.
Ahh, but then you would get another 15 posts bitching about the missing apostrophe. ;)
You just can't win around here!
- I throw rocks at retarded kids
Aww yea, you da man!
Yeah. Way to support the cause, you flaming porch monkey!
I for one would really enjoy reading a good "Mac OSX is dying" troll. How come I haven't seen any of those around yet?
Screw you, I'm modding this shit up!
*ducks*

Hence the "US$25 8oz can of coke" remark.
You slack-jawed faggot. Post with some confidence, or you will get modded down.
...that you're a fucking retard.
Get back on the short bus, tard baby.
You, sir, are a complete and utter retard.
When they scream black power, it's pro-activism.
When they scream white power, it's racism.
That's because open source software doesn't matter to real people in the real world.
Send in Richard Gere! He'll track those suckers down like no other!
He's my hero.

Heh, only in America, right?
How did you find out about it? Did the guy call you? ;)
If so, then you weren't the only one with too much free time on his hands.

Then you laugh at them and go download a copy. Problem solved.
Too late. I've already broken her.
Now, excuse me while I go and wash the blood out of my clown suit.
Hey, someone has to break her in.
You'll thank me in the morning.
...comes to town, my hubcaps go missing.
What's the fucking deal with that?
Hey Rob! You need to bug test your fucking code. It's been 18 seconds for the past minute and a half!
