No, they cannot. Our government is filled with bad and/or stupid people. CYA. The US government does not have your back. Ever.

Technically, they are. Marketplace insurance is just a private plan with an extra layer of government collusion. Crony-capitalism at its finest.

Oh, no. There were tons of us saying our government could not be trusted with shit this important, and we were right. "But Europe!" they said. Well, we don't have a European government. We have an American government, with all the heft and agility of the Titanic. Crony-capitalism under a veneer of pretend-socialism and you have a recipe for guaranteed disaster. Now, is it the end of the world? Not really, just for the poor marks that bought Marketplace insurance plans.

Well, hold on, now. Let's put some context on that number. First, our per-capita emissions are improving year over year (this is also true of Europe). This image gives us more context, but still leaves out some important facts: OECD Americas includes #2 America, while the lower China is #1. BUT, the image is pretty good for establishing trends in emissions. First world countries are trending down, China and ME are trending up. As China begins outsourcing production for their own environmental concerns, look for China the plateau and Africa to start spiking.

As part of the patent, they would have to define what they mean by "mobile device". To avoid prior art, it has to mean something that hasn't been patented or implemented already.

By narrowing the patent to specifically cover using a mobile device, such as an iPhone, mounted in a VR headset. There is hardly prior art for that.
