Reason: a rational motive for a belief or action
Rational: consistent with or based on or using reason
Proof: any factual evidence that helps to establish the truth of something
I agree an individual can struggle with their faith when they see something they interpret as inconsistent... but that does not mean they have no proof and reason justifying their faith.
I think this a very sad sentiment. Faith answers nothing - why would it? Its just something you have accepted to be true without any good reason (by definition of faith). It is frankly very stupid to say that "what you feel in your heart" has some significance!! Why not just say "I don't know - no evidence has given me reason to move to any conclusion".
Your assumption that faith is contradictory to reason is false. What leads an individual to their particular faith beliefs is completely reasonable to them. Those that accept despite reason struggle to hold onto their faith.
Get yourself a smartphone. I just got my first one and have since started leaving my laptop in the bag more and more. When I do boot it, I do a quick sync. Everything you state is at your fingertips with no boot time at all.
Honestly, what's such a rigged contest supposed to prove? Who has a bigger disposable income IRL?
Just setup servers where this is allowed, and those that do not allow the ability to buy their way through.
I used to buy gold in UO(Ultima Online for the youngsters), because I had a life. I would buy it from friends that didn't. It worked out for everyone involved, and made my experience all the more fun.
... Arcade shops should wake up, and offer a PC Lan...
Bring the home PC to the arcade environment.... this is what I feel the industry is going towards.
Pinball machines and PC Lan Arcades....
I am already seeing an influx of newbs in BT groups now because of this article... I get to answer the same questions with "read the FAQ" a million more times...
And... now that it is getting well known because of this article, we will be seeing alot more news about 'piracy' and the evil known as 'bittorrent'..... just great.
I have definately noticed this as well. There was always the problem of newsgroup/bboard postings coming up in results, but overall results are not as relevant as they used to be.
It may have something to do with the change google made to alter results a while back.
I found that I just need to narrow my results down with more criteria.... either way, its better than the alternatives
It's all in the words... and it usually is.
