Everybody involved in healthcare will breathe a sigh of relief about this discovery. As there are less and less people willing to donate organs, it is time that we get other means of harvesting organs.
As far as I understand, with the help of the amazing "fink" you are able to compile pretty much every *nix app to OS X.
Therefor it is as much Unix as you want to.
Maybe I am getting old and need specs, but they really didn't get into the OS specifications apart from mentioning that it plays Linux - compatible games.
If this is really supposed to be the Emachine / Imac for the Linux - Market, why not market it for it?

I can not believe that you would be so naive and start negotiating with Microsoft about a populationwide distribution of their software. What are you ? A Microsoft evangelist? Do you really want to have a population of homogenized, monocultural Microsoftusers who have endless problems with their Operating System, Mailvirusses and crap backup?
In times like this I really wonder wether the bad reputation that belgian politics have in the world is truly homemade and justified.

What's the point having another Next-ish, Linux based OS if you can have OS X on your desktop?
I really don't see any sense in developing more Unix dialects. This just adds to the dilution of a stable Microsoft opposition.
