That would be a great idea for an open mosix cluster virus. I virus that installs open mosix and then adds it to a huge cluster. Wait. Wasn't this the Seti@home deal?
"Actually, the skills level of those Indian programmers is generally acknowledged as being far higher than the average American programmer."
This is in my experience not the case. I have the ability to work with several people from India on a daily basis. From chatting with one of them he said that he only had a year left to get his masters degree in networking and he was just learning IP subnetting. So the big question is, when we compare their education to the rest of the world are we only comparing the standards at which they set their degrees or are we comparing actual skill sets?
I like the idea that the government is finally taking action towards these kind of criminals. This may sound like preaching, but the internet should be a place where I don't have to filter through 30+ emails a day dealing with everything from smuggling money from some dead South African leader to petty virus emails.
Does this mean that the next virus that comes its way that requires a format and reinstall is going to completely make the computer unbootable even at a BIOS level?
Made from the former people of eMachines? If they are trying to scare me from buying a tablet PC they are doing a very good job. I have never had more problems with a single brand of PC and yet now they are going to start producing tablet PCs and expect them to work?

Great! The judge can represent himself! (I know it isn't possible).

Another Gator come on.....
If so, will we be seeing the same security holes on the console that we see on the PC?
