They don't have to check every computer. P2P has a distinct packet that can be traced through flow data and many other programs. Where I go to school, our engineering department sees all of the traffic going through and nails the greatest offenders and those that the industries send letters of 'cease and desist.'
Why would Microsoft bless anything other than their own wma's? They are greedy to get a part of the market and wouldn't touch anything other than their stuff with a ten foot pole. People will choose what will give them the most freedom and that which is also the cheapest. That means ogg.
Too bad it's an Eclipse. I think the Japanese would probably put something like this in one of their cars before an american company. And the plus would be that it probably wouldn't run Windows.

GTA is a 'great' waste of time. It's a successful game because there are a lot of people out there with way too much time on their hands.

Since the guy is running windows on the thing and using winamp, it kinda does support ogg files
accessmicro is a decent site...they put motherboard/cpu/memory combo's together, test and benchmark the system before shipping.
