    I think the inherant inaccuracy in speedometer's will stop them setting it to 31 (although I've been done by a camera doing 36 in a 30).

    So what about the new freedom loving chinese. Seeing as they're actively pursueing Linux as a way to be non-dependant on the US (and MS), then why shouldn't they make their own boxes?

    They're already working on their own CPU's so I don't think it'll be too long. And I'm pretty sure that the rest of the world would rather buy open computers from china, than closed ones from the US.

    Also, not all music and films come from the US, there are other things out there...

    Perhaps they (we) are content (enough) with how the country is being run and don't feel the need to spend any of our all too precious spare time thinking about it.

    Seems odd from looking at your CV, that you would tar eveyone with the same brush, looks like you've worked at some fairly interesting places.

    If you look beneath the surface in this country there's a whole world of non-sheeply things going on. It's a shame you don't seem to have been exposed to any of them.
