I do agree that those 600 innocent men, women and children in fallujah that are now dead are probably more peacefull. Don't know about the liberty or prosperity side of it though.
But back in "the good old days" of Slashdot, people didn't really post responses unless they did know what they were on about, or did a little research first to provide a couple of references.
Windows was originally designed as a single-user, game-playing operating system. It had no concept of networking or segmented user space or file permissions, etc. These things, among others, were added on later as the need arose.
Didn't jump to that conclusion at all. Just seems like the most vocal of the Americans (the original poster being a good example) seem to love death and killing, e.g. actively wanting to see more dead europeans, which, to be polite about it, is a fairly uncivilised outlook on life.
.....what political reasons are there that you don't use BSD?
Despite what your president said there weren't al-quida suicide bombers in Iraq before the war, but there are now.
You have to admit that there is a line of reasoning that says it's the American's fault.

That's all I was trying to say.
If you're no medical expert then I suggest you shut the f*** up, or provide sources to back up what you've said there.
Not only do some adults find it offensive but I know my neighbors kids get it in their email. There should be some law against that?
Just out of interest, which few countries or people have it as good as the US when it comes to freedom of speech?
Presumably you are basing that statement on something?

MS-DOS file permissions
Thames Trains have lost their franchise and GNER is taking over, so it could have something to do with that?
And it also could because I'm sure VBS code will work on a mainframe from 1962.
Is that you cleetus?
Nothing we english say could ever sound as stupid as "uppity tightass".
What you're crying like a baby at them, Mr Scotsman?
No, it will level it out so everyones somewhere in the middle. Why is that difficult to understand?
Why does being modded down frighten you?
Wasn't it the imminent threat of WMD attacks?
I'm sure someone mentioned something like that.
I refer you to your own government.
Interesting, so the conspiracy nuts could look all bling with their gold-leaf hats.
So you're a native American right? Just interested to know, because if you're not then you're a pretty big hypocrite.
Novell's Profit
Exactly. Also when he's using a PC that he's built from scratch himself and is using his home made solar panels to power it.
Well you obviously got the good all American education that you paid for.
Here's a hint, most people don't need to spell check every single word, they generally have some vocabulary of their own.
So you don't believe anything that backs up it's sources or uses big words?

And you think we'd see the same response if one of these was found in Iraq?
You'd like to see more dead people?
And you wonder why people don't like Americans.
Doubt they would have the nuts?
Not being funny, but why should the EU be frightened of Microsoft?
