I've found that actually customer support it quite decent. (or at least development) they even now still release new firmwares for their 2 year old cd players. Also they are great about replacing broken products. They used to be a lot better at customer support, like they responded to e-mails but since they've became the largest digital audio player company in Korea their support quality has slightly slowed and decreased... I'm just hoping they are building up for somethin fancy:=)
oh ive owned
iMP-250 (Actually RioVolt-250, but they are the same thing, broke)
iMP-550 (returned to buy an iHP-120)
iFP-300 (2, won one and sold it)
iHP-120 (current player i use most)
Umm, this is completely irrevalent since all of the iRiver flash player use solid state non-expandable memory. Second Solid state players have MUCH better battery life than hard-drive players and about equal as an average cd player. The iFP-3XX series gets about 24 hours (for real, I have one) and the iFP-5XX series gets about 28 hours, this is of course playing MP3 because OGG has a much more complicated algorithm so more battery power is used.
for the iMP-250, iMP-350, iMP-400, iMP-550, iFP-300 series, iFP-500 series. The iHP-100 series already supports OGG (iHP-100, iHP-115, iHP-120.) Some of the players will support either OGG or WMA at one time... the iMP-250, iMP-350, and iFP-300 series by using two different versions of the firmware (MP3 & WMA and MP3 & OGG), the rest of the ogg supporting players (iMP-400, iMP-550, iFP-500 series, and iHP-100 series) will be/are able to support the formats MP3, WMA, OGG and the iHP-100 series supports WAV as well at one time using only one version of the firmware. cmon folks the iRiver iHP-120 is one of the best players out there and is constantly invloved in the best HD-DAP debate against the iPod and the Karma. search the internet, check out head-fi.org, check for reviews on the internet and you'll find that the iHP-120 is no little player... all iRiver needs is more publicity... shame shame

My uncle works at the CIA and according to him the government isnt allowed to use Windows for combat (apparently windows says in documentation you can't use Windows in combat situations). So they use a modified combat-version of unix. What would the army be using 494,000 non-comabt windows computers?
