  1. reminds me... on Autonomous Race Cars · · Score: 0

This reminds me of a game where you would program little triagles to fly around a small 2 dimensional arena and try to blow each other up. I never really got into it but my friends said it was really fun. Anyone know what this is/was? It was pretty technical, not like a dumbed down programming thing like the windows version of MindStorms.

Anyway: to relate to the story: I would think coding the AI would be a LOT harder than building the cars.

Despite the fact that I am typing this on a shiny G4, I don't think it matters what a computer looks like. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a beige mid-tower. I wish the computer industry would get away from asthetics and focus more on power and affordabilty.

There are two fist posts above this, both say something like "fp." What is the deal with first posts!? I think most first posts can be compared to skipping every question on a test just to hand it in before everyone else. Why can't anyone post a first post that has something to do with the article?

If you can't see all of someone how the hell are you supposed to get a 3d model of them! Admitedly you could assume that their symetrical or something, but that is usually a bad assumption. Hey, I have no problem with people cheating in single player, I do it myself sometimes. When you cheat in a multi-player game, especially if you hurt someone else in the proccess, you ruin it for everybody. Also you should know that the article addressed MMORPG's. MMO's aren't run on private servers, so you dont own even a liscense the part of the game that has to be modified for you to cheat.
