Personally im not going to be willing to goto an ebook until they start producing tablets similar to what stare trek the next generation had, individual tablets that each contain a book, of course i would expect the tablets to be able to switch what books each on has on it. Feel free to troll away at my misspellings and gramer issues.
$7-$300+ you've obviusly never seen the sapranos 5 season dvd set, the hits $300 and is the highest i have seen but im sure theres some out there priced higher.
http://www.strut.org but that got shut down by the state after 8 years of providing exelent computers and recycling for school distracts across oregon. they accepted donations from anyone free of charge except for monitors there was a $5 or $10 disposal fee but now they appear to be reffering donations to a few other places now that struts dead.

so here's a few places in the portland metro/seattle region
i dont know how much $ the RIAA has as a whole, but it seems there suing the same reason SCO is, and thats cause there running out of money and want us good ol rich HS and college students to pay um
modd me down, mark me as a troll but those last 2 posts were just plain messed up, i was hoping america was past using racial stereotypes like that. around here i guess is different course i live in orgeon so i prolly just dont see it as much here
obviusly you have not seen a good divx movie brian. most now a days when played on a tv look just like a dvd rip, and only look a lil diminished on your PC
Actually you don't even need a lincesne (in a sense) at least in oregon. Micro$oft just on friday released windows 98 and windows 2000 to any machine that has been donated or recycled. sorry i dont have a link, but i know this because i am a high school senior who works very closely with our high school admintrator. by no means will we stop playing with linux and hopefully soon even get a linux lab instead of the really pathetic mac lab of old 5400's we have now.
well i dont see the hub ub about this, i mean im fine with downloading my movies from nice lil dvd rippers, a TV i dont think will ever be "pertfect" but i mean, people watch cheap qualaty shows of broadcast tv all the time now, so why worry about movies as long as we have dvd's?
I am currently a junior @ Tualatin High school, i am currently in a classs called "networking" which we go around and fix teachers copmuters when they go down. what i'm wondering is, is there any good grading solutions for linux? Currently we are thinking about either replacing the pc's we have with mac's and use the pc's in a linux lab setup. But what i would really like to see is the pc staying on the desktop and M$ out. We currently use a program for grading/attendance called GradeQuick which does not come with a linux version of the program. Are there any opensource solutions for this or a grading program which is linux friendly?
Haveing a super computer would be great, imagine have the possibility of being able to do your own DNA Research at home. Or you could just get like a 1 gig Vid card and play an awsome game of UT!
