    The rumors of my death are highly exaggerated . . .

    The desktop has grown up and become as good as it can be. CPU speed can't be increased. Screen resolution is maxed out. Audio is CD quality. Everything has gone past being good enough and they last a long time so there is no longer an Upgrade Path to take. Surely sales will go down as a result, but the desktop will never die.

    If the US government thinks that another country is going to seriously land humans on the Moon then everything will change. It will become a second Space Race and US people will be the first to land there a second time.

    Why aren't we just dumping batteries altogether and going straight to small portable nuclear reactors. Long lasting, and you can just toss em in a deep hole or the middle of the ocean when they are spent.

    I have TVs all over my house and they receive free antenna TV. I run the antenna into the cable wires on the side of the house through a signal amplifier and can get 15 channels here in North Alabama.

    theres no point in buying a 3dtv or a 4k ultra resolution tv when you cant watch anything on it with either... television is at best 1080p, and you can only get fake 3d tv. if you want to watch a 3d movie, you have to pay extra. if you want to stream movies, dont even think you will get 4k resolution any time soon. even if you could find something online with 4k resolution, you wouldnt be able to stream it without a gigabit internet connection.

    You already own content that can be viewed on a 4k TV. I'm sure that your Photo Camera pictures are much higher resolution than 4k and would come alive on a 4k television.

    It's a secret warrant issued by a secret court, binding the recipient to secrecy under pain of imprisonment, and with no way to contest the warrant. And since it's the NSA, you can't even see evidence used against you because it's obviously in regards to national security...even if it isn't.
