If you have lots of time, you could get mixplayd, an old pc or two, several old sound cards each, and craft a little perl to tie it all together. Probably cheaper time-wise to just buy something.
Reminds me of a joke. A bunch of astronomers were at a convention and the speaker was talking about the sun. He said, "In five billion years when the sun dies..." and there was a gasp from the back of the room and a man stood up. Everyone was silent, including the speaker. The man says, "Excuse me, how long did you say?" "Five billion years." "Whew! For a minute there, I thought you said 5 *million* years."
Sorry, I beg to differ - I don't think that qualifies as "rebooting". The Apollo Guidance Computer "AGC" software was designed so that high-priority tasks were executed first, which included vehicle guidance.
Due to the executive design (insisted on by Margaret Hamilton, IIRC) the landing was possible. Less important tasks just didn't get CPU time, which showed up as 1201 and 1202 alarms.
The AGC never failed in flight on any mission.

Ok, I'll bite. I'm not a PHP expert, but I think I can respond to a few of these statements.
3. Huh? I don't do this when I add a module. ???
5. There is a debugger. And here.
8. There is a free PHP Accelerator for non-Windows boxes.
Um, I don't think so. According to this article, the Yucca Mountain facility can't even hold it all. It isn't all solid and dry, either. There's plenty of high-level liquid waste around too.
Hey, here's an idea. Why don't they pack a bunch of nuclear or chemical waste around the point where this thing will be created. Create it, the waste gets pulled in, and then it starves and disappears. Ta-da, no more waste.
Maybe not practical, but if you're going to be creating them anyway...
One could assume that he can't compute percentages...
But seriously, folks, this very degree problem has bothered me from the beginning. I'm a college dropout (no money, no scholarship) that has done well in embedded programming over the years. I'd like to do better, but I need the degree, so I've been looking into the situation myself.
Why not re-use codes from Gremlins and Pacers? Those cars were so horrible, those codes deserve another chance.
Do you ever press charges?

Ok, I thought it was funny. I'll sit down now.
The moon IS the road to Mars. If we can't inhabit the moon for 18 months at a time, we sure can't go to Mars.
Electronic Systems Technology. It is an "Esteem" Wireless Modem.
This hasn't stopped Jay Nixon from suing many out-of-state telemarketers in violation of Missouri's "no-call" list - he's collected more than a million dollars so far.

"It uses a proprietary encryption method to protect the data on its harddrive"
Five dollars says that won't stand up a month. (I'm more sure of myself than that, I'm just poor.)

Just my two cents.

with Bruce Dern. Cool movie and most folks I mention it to have never seen it.
The awesome movie Silent Running had a robot like this, but it didn't even simulate playing well.
According to this site it was on Sunday, which was March 24th. The number of passengers and the originating location of the flight match up too.
