I really love the idea of what openBSD is, but there isnt much documenation. It's not very intuative to someone who is used to system V trying to be productive with out good docs or nice utilitys.
I recently learned about and began using SSH. Does anyone know of a good Windows SSH2 Client thats not comercial that has full strength crypto. Secure CRT seems OK for an american crypto product (honestly i dont want to use American based crypto anything at this point). Is OpenSSH SSH2 compliant ?
This should go to show that RedHat wont reign forever or nor should they. RedHat was good for what it was and a lot of people cut their teeth on it but the users will continue to evolve. I for one will be glad to see someone who can do a better job that RedHat we need Stiff competition to really get things cooking. Maybe we will see a Raster based distro soon that would be very evolved. I think Raster shows how fast the users are evolving and RH is showing how slow and adverse buisnesses can be to evolution.

I know there is a mirror list, but does anyone know where i can get an ISO image yet ? It can take a while to synch up but i dont have the patience to wait till next week.
All I am saying the less tax a buisness pays the more it will make the more customers it will have the more it speeds the economy. I agree that our country need tax to survive. I dont agree everything time you goto the bathroom you should be taxed on flushing the toilet. If you want to be fair the only tax should be a flat income tax so everyone paid the same no matter. Our buisnessmen and women will be at yet another disadvantage becauses of BIG brother SAM, i mean uncle sam. Remember taxation without representation ? What senator understands half of what is going on in the technology sector ? The IT industry is getting blind sided by a government that is scared of it. Ignorance should no longer be an excused or a justification. Thats all im trying to say.
Most americans are paying over half of there income in different taxes. I dont feel sorry for the US senators that spend more than they are given they need to learn how to BUDGET not invent new taxes.
Lets push encryption and sales off the shore. They can't tax the buyer they will have to tax the seller. Because they will not be able to keep track of buyers. So everything will just goto mexico or Canada and no one here will have a job. THAT's GOOD !!! GOD BLESS AMERICA
This makes complete since to me. M$ isnt a stupid company if linux continues to grow (which it will). They will have to loose there bull headed resistance to it and build apps for linux or fall. They have never had a problem building inferior products for the MAC or anyother OS. The problem will be once they are in they will "LEVERAGE" there products into each other. For there own advantage through small inconsistencies. Poisoning the water is what M$ is good at not geting in.
The OSS movement is a family when one of is hurt the rest are as well. I think maybe anyone who flames an OSS website, the original email and full email address should be posted. Dont greave alone Scoop. Give us his email address and we can bring the PAIN. If he wants to assault one of the greatest OSS web sites, then at least let the OSS community express there FEELINGS about the matter to him.

I thought Slackware 7 was going the way of everyone else to reduces confusion and allows non guru types to install it, with ISO's. ?

yeah i know 6.0 has been out since may that wasnt what i was asking, im talking about 6.1 ISO images.
