Flood the pirate community with fake keygens, serials, cracked exe's and patches for your software with fancy ascii art, pirates'll have a hellofva time trying all the fakes, they may actually give up on finding a real hack.
Could anyone really blame the industry for saturating P2P networks with fake files so that when you try to steal from them you're actually wasting your time?
I mean one can't whine too much about piracy becoming more and more difficult...
From what I recall, at least one major antivirus software company commented that they would not include FBI Keyloggers or other such tools in the virus updates.
So for the average user, there is no defense.
Seems they don't want the word "Mother" associated with "Fucker", same would go for "God" and "Damn", but the real question is whether or not they'd allow "Mother of God!" to go through;)

This is idiotic, the internet IS bandwidth, limiting bandwidth is not "limiting fileswapping" it's limiting everything you do on the net.

Perhaps no one's made an opensouce version because $500 isn't so expensive when you consider the price of most animation / photoediting tools.
