If you read the MDDS of Intel CPUs, you will find that all Intel CPUs contain BFRs. Do those commitments about eliminating BFRs mean those company like DELL will stop using Intel CPU?
It's the story of my roommate's company. It's a small company related to NASA and NOAA. One of their employee's notebook got infected with some kind of spyware, and a hacker did something bad at NASA via that computer. Several days later, FBI came, interviewed every body in that company and other people like janitors, and confiscated several computers. Then the boss decided that they would be Mac and Linux only. And because the IT guy doesn't want to install Linux on brand new computers, they essentially only buy Macs since then.

This is the logo of a recent worm/virus widely spread in China. It infects.exe,.com,.pif,.src,.html,.asp,.jsp,.php..., if the infected html stuff appeared on the server, IE users who browse the web page also got infected, also it stopped the antivirus software and firewall, deleted backup and did other smart things. There were more than 1 million computers got infected in China since last October. Although the author of this virus left the name of the city he was living in the code, the police didn't caught him until February 12th 2007. The virus author tried to find a job in computer security area, but because he didn't even got a high school degree, nobody hired him. He released code to remove this virus after he got arrested. This is the story of the picture. If some people talk a lot about China but know nothing about this picture, I won't bother too much to read or listen. And I believe you can get your own idea from this story too.
There are two ways to make graphene I have known, one is to exfoliate graphite and the second one is to produce an oversaturated silicon carbide single crystal, and the graphene will grow epitaxially from the carbon layer on the surface of the silicon carbide crystal. None of these two can be "practical" IMHO. I also believe the researchers claim the new transistor is "practical" just to differentiate them from the old ones. Anyway I will read the real paper on Nature Materials and see what Novoselov's group has done this time.
Diamond as semiconductor has been studied for some time. There are some progress recently. But it is not easy to make big single crystal diamond yet, not to mention single crystal diamond wafer. Just imagine how difficult it could be to polish the diamond wafer without introducing many defects, and how hard could it be to characterize how many defects you get in the wafer.
