OF COURSE MS has something to DO WITH EVERY INVASIVE THING . THey must have their hand IN EVERYONES COOKIE JAR. Maybe you should move to the WOODS IN MINNESOTA and send pipe bombs THROUGH THE mail with ANTI-MS MANIFESTOS attached. MAYBE THAT will finally GET MS'S ATTENTION. After all, youve only been BITCHING IN SLASHDOT FOREVER now about MS and making SURE to type M$ instead of MS. MAYBE IF YOU DRIVE A PLANE into MS'S HEADQUARTERS then perhaps BILL GATES will finally CARE THAT YOU HATE MS AND Bill.

I encourage you to FIND STRONGER WAYS to grab MS'S ATTENTION rather than just typing M$ and bashing MS on $LASHDOT. BILL doesnt seem to BE LISTENING TO THE LINUX ZEALOT pleas here on $LASHDOT. BUT WOW IT sure IS FUN TO BASH MS ALL THE time and write M$ and pretend it's ALL MS'S FAULT THAT YOU can't seem TO GET LAID. Why do you EVEN have a WEBCAM?

Why not? The money is there. People will STILL flock to see a remake(maybe more), as long as it's got Star Wars engraved in the title.

Get a kid who can act. Replace jar jar and the gunguns with a species with some type of vocal skill(better yet, have them speak a foreign tongue and subtitle it). Jar jar isnt as annoying as the fat ass leader of the gunguns.

come up with a little more plot than "they're attacking naboo with robots!"

Everyone says AOTC is good. Let's say Ep III is good too. Will anyone watch the entire series? Hell no, I'm starting at 2-6. I can't even sit through 1. It's painfully bad.

You go to the beancounters and draw up how much the "extracullicular" activities are costing the district. You then bring that to the powers that be, and you will have instant carte blance to block it all down.

There is one flaw in this plan...It does not take into account any and all companies servicing bandwith or other computer services to the district, that happen to be the brother/sister/uncle/old frat brothers/wife or otherwise owned by someone with a relationship to a person or persons on the school board. In this case, you are fucked.

Except..there is the third option. This involves shutting down the activities regardless of permission, and then using IT buzzwords to scare the higher ups into submission.

Getting linux into a few american school districts is a coup for linux fans. Educators copy each other all the time, it's the nature of the business. If it works out you'll see a large number of other school districts jump on the bandwagon.

Then....MS will restructure their educational licenses to undermine linux and the districts will fall back in line. Once they do, the MS power play begins anew.

The P2P networks are all built around searching, meaning that you hear a song on the radio, or in a movie, and you think "Hey! Remind me to download that from Gnutella later!".

exactly. "That song is cool, I think ill go download it from gnutella" Not "Hey, remind me to buy that cd later!" or "Hey remind me to download that mp3 later...then suddenly get a consciousce and buy the cd"

Which is what people continue to claim. Searches for random or bands you don't know probably account for 1% of all P2P searches.
