He also missed the key difference between OO and Word for professional authors and editors: Word has a style margin (set to 0mm by default so that you don't know it's there, but easily reset). With this, you can easily see what named style is in use for each block element, which makes style-editing long documents a snip. With OO, you have to click on each block element in turn to find out what named style is currently applied, which slows editing by an order of magnitude.
No, with this you can barely see what named style is in use for each block element. To clearly see, you'd change the paragraph background color for the style. Which is quite easy in OpenOffice.
So what this adds up to is that all those people using XP SP2 Firewall are sharing no end of copyrighted material to world at large, albeit unintentionally. They should know better.Criminals the lot of them, I'm sure the RIAA and the usual pro-DRM gang will say.
If only senator Orrin Hatch's 'fry the computer' antipiracy law had made it through. This would end up in a nice huge smouldering pile of smoking computers.

No, you are an Anonymous Coward. An IT manager at a Fortune 500 company has a name. And if an IT Manager of a Forbes 500 company had something of worth to say at Slashdot, he would not be hiding behind an "Anonymous Coward" nomiker

Really? Now that should come as a surprise to our designers who are happily using Pro/Engineer Wildfire on Linux (SuSE 8.2).
Seriously, you do not know what you are talking about.
Easy. Just curl your middle finger around your index finger.
