i believe that linux hasn't caught on because of x11. if wë really want it, we should make berlin more aqua like and take stuff like the.dmg self extracting disk thingies and make dmg-apt whatever.
in my opinion, this isn't at all an immoral thing to do. just rewrite the file interaction stuff.
in my opinion, this would be more difficult than immoral, because the compiler takes away the comments.

i would really like to see debian with a fancier installer, but after i had my lfs marathon, i have found no need for fancy graphics!
this distro rocked for me 3 months before, but i've since progressed to debian. bonk the dependency problems, i say!
if people were given an identical OSS browser for windows w/o all the bugs, people would use it. i hope....
