I've never heard anyone actually praise Eisner for the job he did on disney. He whored the company out to the extreme commercializing absolutely everything about the themepark to the point where ever single ride in the park is actually an advertisement for a product or company (literally).
What's that? Bamby's going back into "the vault"? Fantastic! Nothing like shunting your product line in order to create fake supply shortages so that you can reintroduce the same fucking products over and over again with no actual improvements in order to further milk former glories for as long as possible.
Disney used to be a source of delight and wonder, now it's just another massive faceless corporation bend on making a quick buck, thanks to Eisner.
I would tend to think DNA is a lot more personal than finger prints.. I personally don't see anything personal or private about finger prints, what can be done with them? They can be stored in a database and later used against me if I commit a gloveless crime? Meh.
Most internet users can't tell the difference between firefox and IE, it's unlikely they'll understand what DRM even is. Those who do understand DRM, probably never bought from the itunes store in the first place.
Rules state that if anyone shares the same last name as someone else asking a question, both their questions are nullified. Sorta like how the voter registration works when someone is found to be a felon.
Ban? No, but if a given IP fails the captcha 10 times in 10 minutes, you can always blacklist the IP and auto-fail any further attempts from that IP for 24 hours..
IBM Compatible: "IBM PC compatible computers are those generally similar to the original IBM PC, XT, and AT. Such computers used to be referred to as PC clones, or IBM clones since they almost exactly duplicated all the significant features of the PC architecture, facilitated by various manufacturers' ability to legally reverse engineer the BIOS through clean room design."
Ohhhhh, python.ORG.. for a second there I thought we were talking about backwards incompatible porn.. whatever that means.

Python 3.0 Released

I'm fairly certain they got all these non-backward compatibility issues out of the way with this release so they don't have to do this kind of thing again for a long while. My guess is, they wont ever put out a non-backwards compatible release, since those changes were mostly to fix poor coding practices like being able to run certain functions without braces (e.g print "hi").
So marketshare is, very much, a pre-requisite for a successful virus. It's not the only one, but when people say "Mac OS X hasn't been attacked yet because it doesn't have enough marketshare", they're right. That's one fundamental reason. And unless you can show that any other reasons apply, it's likely to be the only reason.
That's nice, but irrelevant.
He's attacking the line people spout "oh, there's no viruses for OSX cause not enough people use it", thereby implying that once enough people use it, there will be a similar number of viruses once that market share has been achieved. That of course is a logical fallacy since it's possible and even likely that OSX will never have anywhere near as many viruses as an OS like Windows.
Every country owns their own portion of the internet.
Saying that the US owns the internet is like claiming the US owns Earth; the US controls the DNS servers, much the way the US has the most power in the world.. but that doesn't change that they only control the part of the internet that's located on US soil.

Seriously, half the pages I view on a daily basis these days are wikipedia pages. Any time I want to learn about something, it's the first place I go.

Not when you have a gun.
Will there be blackjack and hookers?
Exactly. A "few people" that you know. You, and those people are not the average internet user.
Most internet users can't tell the difference between firefox and IE, it's unlikely they'll understand what DRM even is. Those who do understand DRM, probably never bought from the itunes store in the first place.
Who wrote this garbage? The article repeats itself about 3 times on one page.
When the rocket explodes on the pad, it's either cause there was a flaw in it's construction, or there wasn't enough computer simulations.
The explosion isn't supposed to happen with the powerful computers we have available to us now days.

>Unless there are extenuating circumstances like these.
Uhh, so I guess the obvious question is, given that these circumstances are present in this case, why was a default victory given?

Well, that was never an argument.

Vista sales weren't very good, maybe Microsoft figured they could make more money selling macs.

Where's the mac version..?

I bet he used that disk array for backup. I know I would.
any country can decide to not use those DNS servers.. (e.g. China)
The US owns the network within their borders.

If you're using hardware encryption.. you don't need useless features like this.
Does this mean it's no longer useful to buy 10,000RPM drives? 10x faster? Sweet.
Odds are they're using the mythical "google algorithm", so they're probably going to keep what they're doing quiet.
