    Nah, students wont cancel the accounts because they need them, instead what needs to be done is someone file copyright infringement claims against *every* student, and since this rule applies to claims and convictions they will all be required to lose their accounts.. showing how stupid this sort of rule is.

    Main difference is ATT has a lot more assets than google.

    If google owned an infrastructure as big as att, they would have much higher cost of operation which would drag down their ridiculous profits.

    Yeah, you're buying the rights to it, which is an exclusive right.

    I could then charge other people money to use that segment of the spectrum the same way google could charge people to use 700mhz after they're awarded rights to it. If i bought blue, I could charge a tax to anyone who uses the color.

    So if I'm a tourist going around town with my videocamera, then stop by to see a movie.. I can be arrested for the crime of possessing a video capture device?

    What about cellphones, am I going to be arrested if I've got a cell on me that can record video?

    The crime should be distribution of copyrighted works, not recording them.

    I just looked up the definition of entrapment in the dictionary and it says nothing about government.

    Vistas been out for a few months; XP has been out for more than half a decade. Obviously there are more known bugs in XP than Vista.

    Umm, I can understand their fears about spying.. but RIMM is a Canadian company based in Waterloo, Ontario, how would the US manage to intercept such information unless the Canadian government was handing it to them.. which seems unlikely.

    Having two programs sharing the same +10mb xml file, constantly reloading and looking for changes is a big waste of resources..

    finding an efficient way to do that is not easy.

    I'm going to have to disagree completely.

    If you don't think deception works in order to sell products, you haven't looked at corporate culture..

    Apple's job isn't to be an unbiased party reviewing it's products and it's competitors products.. Apple's job is to make their products seem the best so that people will want them.

    Would you open a restaurant, then tell your customers that, in your opinion, the place next door has better tomato sauce? I mean, common.

    I hate spam as much as the next guy, but 11 years in prison is too much, that's a murder's sentence..

    If anything, the courts should put him in jail for a few years, take away all the money he's made and make sure he's never allowed near a computer again.

    That would seem more fitting.
