this is true. Also, when the saturn came out, it cost WAY more money then any other system when it first came out, likr 500 bucks. games for it were way more expnsive at first too. You could expect maybe 50 bucks for new games at first, these were in the 65 buck range. later, after sales went down, games got really cheep, but the system never really did until it was too late.
no... the game you were refering too has gotten really bad press about its violence, which in newspapers which are not solely for geeks, (Ex. USA today)would overshadow whatever good features the game might have. every year, people get really mad about violence in video games, even if they DON'T have pedestrians.
I also have a question along this same note. When I took in my three year old toshiba laptop in, because the hard drive was dying, the guy there said that every time you move a laptop a tiny bit, the hard drive gets jiggled, and that three years was a lot for a laptop. I think that is a bit fishy. (my sister got one of the same model on the same day, and hers still works) Is this true, and if so, how long could I expect from a laptop if I bought I new one today?
the VB also failed because it was huge! With the big honking tripod thingee, it was impossible to play in the car. Plus, all of the games stunk, the red and black graphics hurt folks eye's, and...it was ugly. really ugly.
yeah, but that isn't the point. The point is, that all of the bond movies, and the bond movie titles, etc. are protected intelectual properity. Of course nobody will confuse the movies, just like nobody confuses weird al songs with the real deal. It is just the bond people saying, "hey! I don't want you making fun of my movies again" It was stupid to begin filming before anybody asked.
right. thats why america's funniest home videos just are not funny. If I can figure out a way to get myself kicked and in the crotch and not have it look fake, I'd win a bunch of money!

what makes slapstick funny is something a little bit more that that. The act of punching somebody just isn't funny, but some other, deeper thing, something that can't be put into words very easy. People who make films sometimes figure it out, and make monty python. Other, make home alone. Maybe later, after enough home alones, the hidden element to hitting somebody and making it funny will be found.

No, animal farm was about commies, and yeah, fight club may have been very thought provoking and I missed watching the second half because the first half put me to sleep.

The movie was a fight club rip-off? hardly! The movie may have skipped a bunch of mr.nash's life, and watching crowe try and look smart was painful, but it wasn't bad. Thought-provoking, most unlike fight-club.
Amen to that. However, the gaming trend won't shift from bells and whistles to inovation until the market does too. That won't happen for a while. If people are buying stuff that looks good, (which they are) why would a company spend the time and effort to make a game with a real plot?
really now, what is the difference? seeing something on a "found sites" list doesn't do you any good if you can't look at it.
Also, if this "special" search has different info, like newspaper articles, again, all of that could be found at a library or a university website or a search site run by a small company.
why would yahoo launch a special pay-per-search? There are so many free search sites that nobody would bother. Unless yahoo bought them all and restricted their infomation.
what is ment by functional? Does that mean will do what kidneys do in a human? Cow? Sheep? Panda? Or what?

ah, but gameplay is in the eye of the beholder. One man's mario is another man's world tour water polo.

maybe there was little focus on PC games because it was called "history of video games"
since you had one, did it use batteries? If so, what kind of battery life did you get?

no. Weird al gets premission first. When he wrote amish paradice, he almost got sued because he forgot to ask. parodies are NOT protected.
It's not that is would upset or scare a kid, but I just don't think a 7 year old could appericate the show. I never watch Nick, but I loved it

I see. But wouldn't that be very expensive for yahoo, buying the rights to all of those articles, or paying royalities?
