  1. One of the reasons why this is happening... on FDA to Regulate Internet Drug Sales · · Score: 1

...Is because of Viagra. In our un-ending desire for more and better sex, Viagra is turning out to be a major "culprit" in this arena. While listening to the radio this morning, it was noted that recently a man who had a _diagnosed_ heart condition was able to snag some of those blue pills on the 'net and ended up having a massive heart attack and died because of it. Whoops. Hope he died a happy man...
I can see why we need to regulate this. People will do anything to get a fix - whether it be Viagra or painkillers. Why should it be any different than the CVS store down the street? We're not talking about eToys here.

I no longer shop at Amazon because they are cowards. They gave in to pressure from the American Family Association (Read: right-wing extortionists) and pulled their advertising from the Howard Stern Show several months ago. Good question. I guess the only answer is become very good friends with one broker at all the major invetment houses. I am serious.

I think it's disgusting the way this IPO thing works. It's geared towards a few people making a LOT of money. If you don't have the connections, too bad. You're left in the cold to pout.

Seems you need a lesson in stocks. Just because the stock is at $200, doesn't mean Red Hat has free access to all those dollars. Shit, the brokers are the ones who make most of the money. All red Hat got was the initial selling price. The rest is pocketed (hopefully this will be changed by law) by those who got in on the IPO and then made them available at the inflated price. RHAT can start selling of a few million shares to get a lot of the $$$, but that's it. They can only do so much.
