  1. Pay to hear less? on Cellphone Songs Overpriced? · · Score: 1

I would definitely pay more to hear less of our favorite artists like eminem and britney spears. I mean if this isn't the best thing that has happened to current day music, I don't know what is!

  2. Turn off all the other featurs on Does Visual Studio Rot the Brain? · · Score: 2, Insightful

I ten to turn off all the auto coding features and use it for a really good editor, code highlighting, regex replacement, etc. It is actually really nice when working with both a Database and coding by hand.

  3. Great Movie on this on Genetic Testing For Geekiness? · · Score: 1

Gattaca, for anyone who has yet to see it, was a great example of what this is exactly about, the genetics telling all about people, and not caring about potential or anything of the like.

  4. Gone with the Wind on What's Your Favorite Underappreciated Movie? · · Score: 1

I wuld have to go with this little movie called Gone with the Wind, as I feel no one understood the real importance.

  5. Re:Why is he here? on Sklyarov Tells U.S. Court, 'I'm no hacker' · · Score: 2, Informative

He was picked up at Defcon in Las Vegas, NV, US AFTER a speech he gave about this program, therefore was on US grounds. I believe we held him in a US prison until the last court date, and by that time he made agreements with the US govt.

  6. They ban the xBox not your account on Microsoft vs. Modded Xboxes · · Score: 1

I read into a few articles and it goes on to explain that they only ban your xBox, which I assume means their Serial Number. You can still use your xBox Live account on another xBox, you just can't use the xBox that got banned on the xBox Live service anymore.

So try to connect, if you get banned go over to a friends house and play. xBox is much more fun to play in groups than alone anyway!

    Long live unreal!

  7. This is good and bad on Microsoft vs. Modded Xboxes · · Score: 2, Informative

I think this is good on the side that hopefully it will keep out rogue players that want to write their own code, or hack a game for cheats.
Although it is bad because I have a mod chip. Although I have played online with it, turned off of course.

I am sure they will continue to try and fight it, but like everything good luck on fighting piracy/modding, if it uses 1010010's then its hackable.

  8. Women Don't find.. on Wanted: Female Game Testers · · Score: 5, Insightful

I guess women don't find large breasted Animation as exciting as Males?

  9. I would pay for slashdot. on End of the Free Internet · · Score: 0, Troll

If you ad porn, to every article I think you could get alot more subscriptions!

  10. Finally interoperability on Microsoft Enters the Cell Phone OS Market · · Score: 1

I am actually very glad about this, for someone that doesn't want to have to buy a windows CE device to synchronize contacts and such, I can have a small phone instead. I love this and I think they will work out the bugs andother problems that arise, like all their OSs. Only thing I am worried about is Buffer overflow calls...

  11. Microsoft and the Internet on Security Community Reacts to Microsoft Announcement · · Score: 1

If you remember the last big Memo Bill Gates Sent out was about changing Microsoft over to be an Internet Company and how long did it take for them to become an Internet Company? Not very long, so I think this Memo will be a big step for them. I think they will seriously Focus now on security since the Core of their Features are in.
If they want .NET to survive they have to make sure they can be secure along with having an easy to use OS.

  12. Re:Pot calls kettle black... on AOL Time Warner Files Anti-Trust Suit against MS · · Score: 1

I think AOL does try to keep things spereate for the most part, but I think changing ICQ users over to AIM will potentially lose a lot of customers. I personally know a lot of people that use ICQ because they have had the same UID for so long and many of their friends have it. If they were forced to switch to another service they would not choose AIM first.

Also if AOL does not allow outside users, how are people not on the AIM service allowed to send messages to Phones that have AIM built in. I think it is unfair to make someone sign up for a service they don't want to be able to instant message certain devices.
